Problematic fetishes and sexual confusion

    Hey guys so as a small kid I've always noticed I've had a nail fetish since the age of like 5. Now whenever I see someone do there nails or have acrylic nails on and I notice it I'll instantly get aroused regardless of which gender it is. The fetish of nails is the main thing that gets me aroused when masturbating however during sex I do not require to think about it. This has lead me to large sexual confusion amongst myself. There is times where I look at images of guys with nails on trying to masturbate to it and there isn't really a response, unless I think just of the nails and not the gender. Then there's other times where I'll thinking about a girl doing someone's nails regardless of guy or girl and I'll instantly get aroused. Can someone help me please


    Also the other thing I've noticed is if I try masturbating to something gay or someone that's gay I won't be able to get erect, however my mind instantly switch to the thought of a women and I'll get aroused quicker than anything. The constant attempts of doing this cross stimulation and thoughts has only lead to more confusion. Has anyone gone through such if so please help and also have huge confusion as to wether I'm gay or straight and it's only my nail fetish that's causing this.

    Can anyone please elaborate on this or help explain why the cross stimulation stuff gets me aroused etc it's very weird and am actually scared

    The thing that gets me though is, if I see nails on a guy or girl and notice it I'll be aroused. But when I trying wanking to the guy nothing happens like it just causes confusion

    Also everytime I notice a gay person nothing happens or I get slightly anxious and then once I see a women or anything to do with a female even her name I'll instantly get aroused only happens when near gay people so weird

    You see, these things come under fetishes. All people have one or other fetishes, but the thing is do you feel bad afterwards? Does it seem like ruining your life? are you feeling distressed by your actions, if so then this problem comes under Paraphilia. well paraphilias are curable, but they take time, but at the end of the day, whichever addictions you have or whatever fetishes you have, the first step is to quit porn and after overcoming porn addictions, slowly try to do cognitive behaviour therapy, like you have to look for nails for few mins, resist the temptations, then after sometime, increase the duration....Take it slow, things like these take about 12 months to 5 years

    you have fetishized an object in this case nail polish on fingernails. Thats what fetishes are, sexualization of non-human objects.

    Okay so in regards to the fetish it's normal, that when I see the object regardless of the gender I'll get aroused, cause thinking of having sex with guy is not arousing at all for me
