My last attempt to cure my erectile dysfunction

Discussion in 'Porn-Induced Sexual Dysfunctions' started by Deleted Account, Apr 22, 2020.

  1. Hey guys. I will try to summarize it because the story is long.

Well, I'm 26 and I have ed since 17 probably, but I just realized it when I was 25 when things got very worse.

I stopped porn in 2018 because porn couldn't stimulate me anymore. But even with my semi erection I still did some edging. In 2019 I discovered this forum and this a 70 day reboot hard mode.

Nothing improved and I started considering that my ED was something physical. I did all the procol that doctors asked for me, it took many months.

And guess what? Doctors found absolutely nothing, they say that my problem is psychogenic. And yeah, probably it's psychogenic because I have anxiety and depression because this ED. Like a snowball.

But... I was reading more and more and saw some people having results after 7 months of no PMO . Probably I just needed some more time.

I masturbated since when I was 12 years old, and started with hardcore porn like hentai. And I'm considering again to do a reboot because I did a test with me last week. I went to a porn site and saw some videos and I had no response down there. I typed "big dicks" ( I know this is weird I'm not gay), and I achieved a little erection, something started to happen.

So, probably I have PIED and also HOCD.

I also have a question guys, do you think a little edging a day could harm my progress? Some people say that doing this will fuck my dopamine system again. But my last doctor said that I need to stimulate myself to keep blood flow, so I don't know what to do.

    Thanks.

Hey there. Sorry to hear of your troubles. I'm right there with you. I think for all of us who have been addicted to porn for a long time (I myself have been addicted since somewhere around 13 or so), we really need to do a complete reboot with no edging or masturbation of any kind. Based on things I've read on the forum, we should be able to recover and get rid of the PIED, but it's going to take a while to really get our brains right again. Hopefully someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but based on what I remember reading, it sounds like the best thing to do initially is not to have any sex in the beginning. I've read some accounts of people going 30 days and some where people went longer before attempting sex. But basically, it seems it's important for us to have time in the beginning with no sexual stimulation. And then it's important to rewire our brains with an actual partner in order to completely eradicate the PIED.

    Hello, Friend.

I recommand you to do a radical PMO to have a good rebot. Because, sadly, yes there is a problem. Sometime even nature need some rebots on element like rain to be producing grass and flowers.

Please, see my signature there is a thread that may help you with keys and benefit.

Don't edge, you'll basically just be negating any progress you make.

As for the blood flow thing, I don't buy that. I even remember reading an AMA from a dude who became a woman before transitioning back again and he said that his erections worked just how they did before the whole thing, that's despite having a dead dick and being pumped full of estrogen, t-blockers and whatever else for three years.

What did the doctors ask you to do? The medical clinic I work in specializes in diagnosing men with physiological, and hormonally induced erectile dysfunction. Perhaps I can provide some guidance(not medical advice) in the area, you may have received subpar medical services in this area.

Feel free to DM me directly, and maybe give me a written walk through of what your doctors asked you to do.

  9. Everything man, hormones (all blood tests) , ultrasound doppler, they evaluated me physically, I also was evaluted by a pelvic floor therapist. It's everything ok, nothing wrong physically.

Shoot me the readings/numbers of your hormone panels if you want, it's fairly common for physicians to look at the readings and see that it's all in the "normal" range, and call it all good. However, being on the lower end of normal, or higher end of normal for different hormones can, and does cause erectile dysfunction, and libido issues. Can't tell you how many times I've sat down with guys who had male sex hormone panels done by other clinics, given the all clear, they come in to us and we pick up on it right away, and generally it's always in the "normal" range. But thats almost entirely meaningless without understanding the nuance of the different hormones.
