How long were you addicted to porn before taking the challenge?

Started when I was 13 but I (fortunatly) didn't always have acces to P because of moving houses (no wifi). Came across NoFap when I was 18 but continually relapsed and gave up occasionally. I wouldn't consider my addiction to be very heavy but instead more like a nasty habit that sporadically escaleted.

 

Probably about age 13, so would make 14 years of ignorance before finally realising I had a real problem. Unfortunately the story will be the same for most of us I think because discovering P at a young age in development is going to play a significant part in how you and your life develop and unfold. Same with any other addictive substance - if a kid starts smoking in early youth, chances are they'll get hooked.

I think I was around 12-13 when I started to PMO and realized I had this growing addiction when I was 18. I have since been battling this addiction for almost 2 years but I right now I am on the right path.

So that makes it around 5-7 years. Damn it was a lot of time jajaja.

When I was in between 12-18 watched porn occassionally while past about 6 year I started reading erotic stories, porn viewing is all become my daily habit every day in night before sleep I fap, or when I wake in between sleeping I fap with porn if I get bored with it started reading sex Stories it give more pleasure then after ejaculation I feel good that's all become my daily habit, this is how I destroyed myself but now I am glad that I am rebooting hope everything gonna be allright.

 

I was 11, so it's been almost 8 years, in my worst days, i used to fap almost 5 times a day, and i was pretty depressed,
Been fighting ever since i realised that i was addicted af and so deep in i couldnt even tell who i was before that. But now I've never been that motivated to change. ^^

 

10 year (inconsistent). I have been single from my high school and university days, never dated a lady or for relationship, and Masturbating seem the only way out of my loneliness. I thought I was practicing practice celibacy (please was I wrong? I need answers). I did Masturbate to keep me happy (thinking I was doing the right thing to keep myself happy), but it eventually graduated into Phonograph, and I became addicted to it. That was how phonograph started. However, being single I focused my energy to building my career and develop myself for future opportunities. To my surprise, it worked for me. I built my own company (startup) and invested my time and energy in my career. However, Masturbation often come in between that sometimes I get frustrated with myself, trying to control myself and my emotions. Sometimes, I go in several months free from Masturbation and sometimes I am overwhelmed that it's difficult to come out.
Plus, I am single. I did tried to go into a ask ladies out for a relationship, but it's not working. Some ladies I have met, happened to have been heartbroken and not wanting to go into a relationship. I had my regrets, I was bitter and pained. Because I have abstain from Sex to keep myself for the love of my life (except phonography and Masturbation), I don't know if you understand my experience. I am Handsome, Jovial, Lovable and industrious, what else does a lady wants from a guy?

I'm 25 years, and I am ready for a relationship but it seems not working. My recent trial with a lady, who clearly shows me Love but would claim she is wanting to heal from her past (she was heartbroken), hence, she is not ready for a relationship, it gets me frustrated. We have been together for 7 months, always showing her that I truly love her and I do show it by actions and she somewhat reciprocate, but still claims she's not in for relationship. This overwhelming frustration gets me into my loneliness and often leads to frustration. But I discovered NoFap recently, and I hope I really helps me out completely.

Was a porn addict in the making before I saw my first tit. Haven’t done the challenge yet ...

 

I first saw porn when I was like 9 or 10, my brother showed it to me. It was just magazine and VHS tapes, I casually watch those for years but was never addicted.

Then when I was 14 I got my own computer with high speed internet, and porn started consuming me, I would be at school and the only thing I would think about was going home so I could pmo cause my parents wouldn't be home for an hour or so. This lasted through high school, but there were times I went without porn for long periods of time, I wasn't addicted yet, just a heavy user. When I was 16 I went abroad for a month, during that time I didn't pmo at all and had no urges too either.

But when I graduated highschool I had no friends and was very depressed, that's when I went off the deep end, I started pmo'ing every day just to make myself feel good, and I couldn't go without it anymore, I remember one time our wifi died and I literally walked the neighborhood with my phone hoping to piggyback on somebody's internet so I could get off.

I was 26 when I finally realized I was addicted to porn. So about 8 years into the addiction, now I'm about 10 or 11 years into this addiction.

 

Started at 13. And didn't take control until this year. I am 26. it sucks because looking back I can see how much it destroyed me and relationships I had. Its sickening to look back and see 13 years of degradation. but I try to focus on the future and not the past.
