I relapsed (3 days) What can I do to improve?

    NoFap is so depressing, especially in these times. At home all day, alone. It's BORING. I can't stop thinking about PMO and I've got nothing to occupy myself with, aside from shitty school work that is poorly taught.

    What are some of your strategies to avoid relapsing? I'm having a hard time.

    Hey dude....

    Try posting in the challenges and events section.....
    there are lot of challenges going on, which I suggest you to take part in, man. This lock down has got us all good. Especially for me not going to the Gym sucks. But in reality I was relapsing even when the Gym was open. So what I'm trying to say is that mind is fucking us up....

    Some stuff which worked for me:
    -> Joining accountability group in Watsapp and messaging my friend in that when I had the urges.
    -> Taking cold showers & working out for 7 days.....(my whole mentality has changed, the relapse which happened after that was a tough one, its hard to explain I relapsed out of habit not by the compulsiveness.)


    So please consider trying them both, YB64!!!

    One of my strategies is to give up, one thing I give up is resentments so that I don't have to use pm+ over them. Related is giving up pride, belief in untrue ideas etc.
    I've noticed a lot of resentment lately, thankfully there's an actual process for allowing that energy to flow as it should instead of it sitting on me like a 600 lb gorilla. That's a really good analogy, they say when you're having sex with a 600 lb gorilla you're done when the gorilla decides you're done and that's also a good analogy for addiction and resentment both. So I've been practicing that solution a lot the last couple weeks, the way I was taught by pm+ addicts who were happily sober. And that's a big part of how I got to not have to use pm+ since 3/12/13 is facing my resentments without fighting them, just working through and WITH them. Giving up my ideas, letting feelings pass like clouds. Sometimes they're very stormy clouds, why would I sail into a hurricane with my little 40 foot sail boat? :)

    The first 7 days are The most important. Only 2 things can help.
    1) Unfollow all the models and celebrities from instagram and facebook.
    2) Talk to yourself when urges are at peak. Things like " I have to complete this challenge no matter what"

    The first 7 days are the most important because they will decide how serious you are. Its not going to be easy. Whenever a thought comes in your mind.just get busy in something. Many courses are free right now, you can study them . Make yourself busy man! You are way better than what you think.
