    Day (2/90) completed -
Nothing much to say. Whole day was as usual. The same yoga, meditation and exercise along with tasty food. No urges, no wrong thoughts. Feeling relax, positive and motivated. Heading to Day 3(1st phase).

That's what I told you my dear friend, Day 2 now is easier than day 2 before because your brain is now healthier and the rewiring (rebooting) process is working now very well, I am waiting to hear from you good news on Day 3.

    Day (6/90): Completed :emoji_v:
Like every night, there are thoughts about porn but as every night passes without porn we get strong and we are able to release these thoughts easier thanks to the rewiring (rebooting) process.
Although the urges were too much last night because I am off work today, but reading this article changed my mind 180 degrees and I didn't think about porn even for a moment after reading it.

This process is so tough because it involves BREAKING UP WITH THAT HAREM (means: a lot of girls) Your brain has to accept that you are saying goodbye to all those girls, never to see them again! Your brain fights you for several weeks because IT DESPERATELY WANTS TO KEEP ITS HAREM. It will make you sad, angry, miserable, depressed, horny as hell, numb, null - it will drag you through the worst kinds of hell it possibly can to get you to go back to your harem, because it loves them so much.
But then, just like when you break up a relationship, you wake up one day and the fever is gone.
A guy who quit porn said:

"So when you ask if it's now hard to continue to not watch porn. No - It's really really easy. My brain knows that those girls are gone. It has accepted. It has given up trying to make me go back to them. It has moved on. Now when I'm at home, my brain knows there is nothing sexual there at all."

This is awesome, man. Thanks for sharing, and congrats!

Congrats to ALL of you. I apologize, I haven't been on in a few days, so I haven't been much support for each of you. I do want to share, however, that I've hit 10 days clean! I reached this milestone about 2 weeks ago, but then relapsed, but I'm feeling very strong today and looking forward to breaking past this time.

    Hi all,

It's great to hear all of your successes, delighted that you're showing the way! Unfortunately, I relapsed today and so have reset my counter. I was under a lot of pressure at work and started feeling urges. I should have sensed the danger and come to the forum for support but I didn't. I'm committed to succeeding this time and will take strength from your examples. :)

The habit is powerful, but you are more powerful than it. Get back up! Remain committed to overcoming PMO. Remember we are winning this together.

No need to worry man, No need to get depressed because you have already passed several days without porn, your brain is now trying to rewire itself tightly back to porn, so take care because you have already achieved a great success that you should keep on. Your brain now is healthier than before, Day 1 tomorrow will be different from Day 1 before. I am waiting to hear from you good news on Day 1.

This is fantastic man, you are the leader now with 4 days far from completing phase 3. Remember that the most dangerous thought of these days is "Let's celebrate my success with porn!, It won't affect for one time" or "I miss those girls in the videos, Let's have a look on them".
It will take its time for our brains to give up thinking of those girls (rebooting process). But then, just like when you break up a relationship, you wake up one day and the fever is gone.

Totally agree about yoga and meditation.. consistent meditation makes a world of difference for me.. the length of time being way less important than just doing it daily or in my case twice daily.. that consistency builds a calmness and clarity that’s powerful. Getting slack in my meditation has caused a few relapses in the past.. life gets busy.. I’ll do it later etc.. I’m on 30 days today for the first time in a looong stretch and I haven’t missed a day of ‍♂️.

Congrats man for this great success, you have completed Phase 5 which is about 70 percent of the journey although Day 30/90 is about (33.3 percent). However, the road is not linear and you have passed the most difficult days. The upcoming phases should be less dangerous because your brain rewiring (rebooting) has reached a very good level.
I think that meditation has helped your brain rewiring process, it would be very good if you can tell us when we should meditate, whether before sleeping or on waking up or when getting thoughts about porn. And how meditation will affect us?

Ok. no probs.. I have completed 90 and 72 days porn free in the past and still returned to PMO.. so I’m not the success story yet.. I’ll tell you straight how meditation works for me and also one potential draw back

First off it is way more important to be consistent rather than irregular marathons.
I meditate upon waking and before bed daily. If you can make a sort of ritual I think that’s really beneficial. It’s a bit like porn.. the ritual puts you in the mindset.. light a candle or burn some incense. It’s your private practice.. do what you feel is right..but do the same ritual every day. I think for porn incense can be really helpful (I’ll explain in a minute)

The best way to describe the benefits in meditation are to me like starting the day with a blank slate. When you empty your mind first thing in the morning I find that I can carry that now through most of the day. My interactions are more genuine and natural and the world reflects this back. Life’s a bit nicer...but also consistency slowly builds strength in retaining clarity.

Your yoga teacher I’m sure will have there own style of meditation they are teaching you so I won’t go into that but I would say it’s really important to (say if your counting breath) observe your thoughts but without judgement.. including sexualised thoughts.
When that becomes a strong habit it is MUCH easier to not attach to sexualised thoughts throughout the day.

I’m a lot more advanced in my practice now and so feel like I almost have this under some control.. I will say that an early problem that I had and really needs to be mentioned is that in my opinion if you have really attached to your sexualised thoughts (IE: that “on for the ride” feeling) then in the past trying to stop this by sitting in meditation has made it worse.. it was like I couldn’t stop that loop as I was already too attached/invested... and was making the mistake of trying to suppress thoughts which creates a friction.. you actually have to observe them and let them be.. I wasn’t good enough at stepping away from my thought yet.. it’s still hard when it comes to porn.. it needs to be seen through before it builds up to much.. I have ways of doing that now but they really relate to where my practice is at as well so may not be of any use.
(My current ideas are a bit to do with how the brain hemispheres relate and being aware of how that may play out in this but it’s just my thoughts)

Anyway when thoughts are getting out of control or some stress has the potential to cause a problem.. this is where the incense comes in.. I have found that because that particular smell is now deeply associated with my meditative state that if I start struggling the lighting of an incense stick can be enough for my brain to engage in a more relaxed “oh are we going to meditate now?” State.. it’s worked for me dealing with any type of stress which can lead to a relapse..

The last thing is that for me by making morning and night my habit.. that was pretty much my most regular PMO times.. in a sense it’s replacing a bad habit with a very good one which is really beneficial as there isn’t such a feeling of loss.

I hope this helps and if you need any more info I’m happy to share the little bit I know✌️

  17. Good morning friends, another day begins another day for further rewiring our brains to more health and clarity.

@Darkestbeforethedawn Don't worry I'm sure that you improve your streak this time! Don't forget, every day counts and brings your brain closer to recovery.

  18. Is this still on? I relapsed yesterday. Would like to take up a challenge with a group. A Telegram group or something would be best. I need to overcome triggers first- glancing at porn before I got to sleep, which then goes on for hours.

    DAY 9/90 COMPLETED
I have completed day nine of nofap. What I do now a days is that I force myself to go to bed on time before the urges set in. I must say that sometimes I don't feel like sleeping, but I have to.
