I'm not going to put all of the blame on quarantine because it's my lack of willpower at the end of the day but I'm not doing so great either.

Since going 63 days across Jan-Mar I've relapsed a whole bunch of times in April, averaging streaks of about 3 days each time. I also now feel like I've undone all of that previous streak. Sorry I don't really have any advice but maybe it'll help slightly to know you're not the only one struggling with this.

  3. It's been hard for me too. Don't focus on the big streaks. Get a couple days and be happy about it. And for god's sake, keep yourself entertained in healthy ways. Play an instrument or read some books. And don't sit on your ass, you gotta work out. Go on r/fitness or r/bodyweightfitness for a good routine. You will taste success after a while.

Also, sometimes it's not best to hide from your thoughts. Post here as often as you want. And don't drown yourself in music or TV. Sit in silence every once in a while, away from a screen. It will calm you down.

I have the same problem. I´m working from home, my wife is working out im a grocery store and this left me alone with my worst enemy, my porn adiction. I've relapsed many times! I want to going out and make anything else but first, here the quarantine is total, you can't go out! And second, my job in home makes me more anxious and then more tempted to touch my self and... this situation really anger me!

    Don’t blame it on quarantine

  6. Suicidal thoughts are more important than worrying about PMO. How serious are they? Do you really want to kill yourself or are you just thinking about it? Or maybe you are not sure. You must talk to someone about the suicidal thoughts. It's not a shameful thing to think about. Try to get help. Talk to somebody about it. Or just talk to somebody!

My advice : forget about pmo at moment.
If p is helping you cope with your anxiety do it.
This quarantine is not gonna last forever.
If you could go for a run , i am pretty sure it will lift your spirits.
Do it for couple of days and report back to us.

I think the first thing you should do is worry less about streaks and numbers of days you've had... The goal is to take back control of your life you know this habit is negative my advice is fill your life now with more positive habits ragardless of this quarantine leave your room!! Have conversations with the members of your family and people around you now, read books, take naps, make time to use your phone/devices sometimes just turn the phone off and use your imagination think of positive outcomes of your life its healthy, don't always be on the phone. make plans, analyze yourself and try to fix your social skills so when you get back out there you can do better.. Exercise!! You don't need to go to the gym or use any equipments and most importantly friend take it easy on yourself... You've got this okay!

Don't suicide you at all. You are precious to Jesus Christ.

Please, when the suicidal thoughts, listen to this song:

  13. I suggest that you reach out for help from some professional. This forum is very helpful, but it can not replace professional support when matters become as serious as thinking about suicide. Please note that these are not thoughts that people usually have. You should talk to someone that can help you beyond those lines of thought.

Your biggest concern must be to end those suicidal thoughts. That is more important. You can talk to online psychologists. I wanted to say that it happens. Everyone goes through this stage once in their life time. The good news is that this phase will end only if you kept yourself strong.

  15. Stay in there. Dont focus on not PMI, but focus on the result you want to achieve. Look ahead.

    Hello,

I’m sorry to hear that you are struggling. Rebooting has its ups and downs, just like life. We see many people experiencing both the ups and downs during the reboot, and though it may be hard to see now, these feelings you are having won’t last forever. It will get better with time, if you are patient and wait.

In the meantime, please seek professional help. I know the idea of calling a helpline might terrify you, but in times of crisis, we often need someone their to put our lives in perspective. So please contact someone who can help and don’t hang up on them. The International Association for Suicide Prevention maintains a list of suicide prevention hotlines for countries all over the world. Also, if you don’t feel up to actually talking to someone on the phone, StopSuicide maintains a list of online instant messaging and chat suicide prevention resources.

You are not alone in this. There are ways to treat depression. Please contact people that can help you. Being depressed often makes it feel like you don’t have any more options. But that is a lie. That is just the depression talking. These feelings you have won’t last forever. We are in this with you, and we will all be cheering for you to get through this!

I'm torn. In theory the quarantine is a great set period to reboot but I'm struggling so much being stuck in my room/ house with no ability escape urges other than my own willpower. I can't blame the lockdown because its me that is the problem. Still it was easier before.
