Bates motel, black mirror and I enjoy anything with Jake Gylenhaal (Nightcrawler) was a movie I really enjoyed

Definitely go for Hannibal. Mindhunter is pretty good.
Someone mentioned Black Mirror. I wouldn't consider it as a psychological thriller but you should see it! True Detective start was really boring, I couldn't end first episode.

 

It's good for kids. But since you loved Mr. Robot you must go for some other series. BTW Mr. Robot is very similar in theme to Fight Club. If you haven't seen it. It's a must watch

 

What? Why? Stranger Things is the best! It took me a few episodes to get invested in the characters, but once you do, it's a really really well written show with great acting and production.

 

It's a slow beginning, but it definitely gets better. And the newest season is so great! Lots of crazy stuff. It just takes a bit to get to it.

 

Season 1 is great. But the theme starts getting a bit repetitive thereafter. From season 2 onwards I invested myself only ina few characters. Their arcs are good. But the plot is mehhh.

 

Echoing Hannibal as above, but The Sinner is also really good. Particularly season 1. Really sticks in your head.

Also check out Manhunt: Unabomber. Though it has elements of a police procedural, it doesn't detract from the excellent way they choose to unfold the storyline.

 

Yeah the sinner season 1 is awesome. But like true detective I believe it's a one season wonder like you said. Manhunt unabomber like criminal minds has interesting stuff on criminal profiling. Pretty interesting stuff
