I feel you man! I started attempting to dismantle my porn addiction years ago. There were lots of times I felt extremely hopeless because I'd been fighting for years and still couldn't make it longer than 1 week without PMO. All I can say is, KEEP GOING!! You CAN beat this and you WILL if you don't give up. You probably need several personal breakthroughs and to grow stronger in many areas. You may also need to deal with emotional issues or trauma from the past...mindsets, external circumstances, health issues...there's a lot that goes into being a healthy person. I don't know your life so I wouldn't presume to tell you what you need. Only you can figure that out.

Do everything you can. Learn as much as you can. Get as much support as you can. Fight like your life depends on it (because in a very real way it DOES) and NEVER beat yourself up because it's still difficult or because you screw up and have to reset. Even if it takes you 10 years to get out of this addiction it will be worth the effort on the other side. Keep the long game in mind. It sucks to struggle with something for two years, but it's much better to sacrifice that time now and be free for the rest of your life.

Be patient with yourself. You are a GOOD person and you have what it takes to get to the other side of this. Have the courage to let yourself grow into the person you see in your heart. I believe in you!

    5/30 No caffeine

After 4 days of no caffeine I always start dreaming vividly again! I'm not sure why this is but it's kinda exciting!

  14. Very wise words, friend. You are spot-on right about all of it. I'm not giving up, not ever. I may have to get creative and work on some other aspects of my life, like you suggest, but that's ok, I'll figure out a way to survive and move forward. I've overcome alot in my past already. We are resilient and resourceful beings, we humans, when we learn to have faith in ourselves and commit to changing our lives. Thanks again for the encouragement.

  17. Same thing happens to me during my reboot but I thought the vivid dreaming was the brain resetting from no porn. Maybe it's the no caffeine and alcohol as well causing it.
