3 day cycle

    Hey guys,

    I’m doing nofap since 1 year, and my longest streak - hold your breath - was 8 days. I work out 5 days a week and I have an extreme high libido, but now I relapse every third day since 2 months. It’s a nightmare for me, literally it’s torture. I try, I try but every god damn third day I relapse. I guess it become a habit. But now I seek to you. I’m starting today, and every goddamn day, I’ll come to this post, and I’ll read this to remind myself, that I will fucking to this, without any other relapse. I promise I will do this. If not I’ll donate 50 euros to this site.

    hey man consistency is the key, u have to come here every singel day, u cant just come 2 days and then leave. avoid all triggers at every cost... JUST DONT BE ALONE. And install apps and programs that blocks these things:) which u good luck

    It seems like you're stuck in a circle/ Maybe on day 3 you can try and meet up with some friends, do activities outside. Do not use your laptop or phone during that day and it will pass.

  7. The high libido is totally understandable, it's something you just need to accept. Don't sweat the 3 day problem now, just do your best.
    Give the 50 euros now! If you have the money (and are financially able to part with it), just do it. Guess what? You'll feel better. And I bet this can help you go more than a few days. And if it doesn't? Who cares? Get back in the game and keep trying!
     
  8. Thats good. I think the first step is to get away from all sexual stimulation. Sounds like you are stuck in a habit loop. There must be a trigger that you haven't identified yet. It could even be the fact that you say to yourself "oh I'm on day 3 now and this is when I usually relapse" and the thought carries you through to the action. The cycle continues. If day 3 is when you slip, then make a goal to reach 4 days. I don't know what your end goal is for this but set some smaller goals. When you have done 4 days, go for 5, then 6, then a week. Give your mind and body time to get used to the new cycle. I hope this helps, not an expert myself but goal setting is very important. You need something to work towards, otherwise you are just in the dark. Good luck :)
