  1. Hi all :)

So today I was drawing and well my drawing didn’t come out as I wanted. So I quickly went on to twitter to search for a porn star (In my laptop I have SafeSearch on and cant turn it off jaja). I watched triggering images and videos for about 10 minutes, I was going to relapse but something kept me away from that. As if a huge battle was occurring inside my brain with the emotional and rational side. I got up and roamed the house for quite a bit until I just collapsed on mu bed for a good 15 minutes and the urges went away. Just looking for 10 minutes can cause huge mayhem and confusion.

My question is, how can I deal with failure?? It seems that it is huge trigger for me. For example, if a fail a quiz PMO, if my drawing is bad PMO, if I didn’t get the girl I like PMO.

is this also an issue you guys have??
    Any recommendations??

  2. Our brain likes to avoid hard things, and always seeks for temporary happiness/ pleasure. You need to train your brain to do enjoy doing other stuff. I'm sure you must be good at something, some habit, you can pursue that and your brain would be happy. And if you fail to do something, take a break and pick an interest. Keep your brain indulged in other activities. Make small achievable goals, and accomplish them, your brain would love it.

It also happened to me many times in my last streaks. Now, if I look on a porn site for, let's say, 10 minutes, I get a very strong erection, in most cases, but there are times when I see erotic content and my body doesn't react. I succeeded to understand my brain in the correct way. The reality is that our brains do not see any difference between some pixels with naked women and a real naked woman - the reaction is the same. Now, I am disgusted by porn&things like because these are fake, unreal, I do not have sex with something real; my conscious brain is more important-he takes the decisions.
My recommendation to you is to train yourself: do some research with how problematic porn can be, know your body(your addiction), and repeat in your mind what you want to avoid. To masturbate on every shit that triggers you is like fucking every single escort. It is about SELF-DISCIPLINE/CONTROL-it is built in time with tries, work, wins&loses and motivation&ambition and study.

Remember that loneliness, boredom, stress, and failure are triggers. That said, whenever you experience any of these, you have to be conscious of your environment, and yourself. Occupy yourself with something productive. Just as @deeroo mentioned get more information about the dangers of porn on your mental and physical health. This will discourage you from running to pmo whenever you are vulnerable.
