Is there another way to enforce google safe search besides Fap secure? When I installed it, half the programs on my home screen disappeared, and I have a weird feeling about it.

    what??
Do you mean your desktop? Could you explain more please??
You could install qustodio. It also enforces safe search but if you're determined enough, you could bypass it easily. There is also a problem that it switches youtube to restricted mode.
I was thinking of modifying fapsecure so that it overrides cleanbrowsing family DNS to allow reddit.com but at the same time blocking images and videos on reddit. Do you think that would be a good idea? At the moment it disables youtube restricted mode enforced by cleanbrowsing. But we need to fix that problem that you've found first. Could you send a screenshot or something?

Okay, I think I get it now.
When you install it, it restarts explorer.exe. This is very important to protect its files. I can't say more!
In the earlier versions, it had to restart the computer lol.
Trust me, there is nothing you should worry about.

I updated the main post to say that fapsecure overrides cleanbrowsing DNS and reverts YouTube from restrict moderate mode to normal. I am working on a fix for reddit while using cleanbrowsing DNS.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

Sounds good. Safe mode on youtube is horrible, it blocks a ton of clean stuff.

    Hey guys,

I have updated fapsecure so that it unblocks reddit when you're using cleanbrowsing family DNS and at the same time images and videos on reddit remain blocked by cleanbrowsing. It also reverts youtube from restricted mode enforced by cleanbrowsing to unrestricted mode.

So fapsecure is optimized to be used with forceDNS which forces cleanbrowsing DNS on windows.

  8. Hi sinner,

I have tried to block porn via add-ons before but those never really worked for me. Some people say porn blockers are not the way to recover from the porn addiction and that it really has to come from within. But after some really motivating and long streaks in the first months of my journey I am not able to have streaks longer than 7 days and I wonder if I ever can heal. Today I came across your post and I immediately installed the blockers for windows and android. I am an addict and I can't do it all alone by willpower, so it feels like a blessing that I saw your post. The blockers are far more sophisticated than add-ons and it seems to work really well for me. Maybe if you really want to find anything it's possible to find porn or other turn-on's, but the blockers at least give you a safer feeling when browsing online. Also, making it so hard to watch porn may remind you of the importance of not relapsing and may bring you back to a focused state when you temporary have less willpower.

I want to thank you for all your efforts, it means a lot to me and it might save my life.

    Hey Terminat0r,
You could always remove an add-on by a right click then remove. So they're not useful when you are trying to lock yourself from porn.
That's exactly how I felt when I found out about those programs! Browsing the internet is now much more peaceful to me, no more inner conflicts.
I'm glad you found them helpful. Of course they are much better than add-ons. I don't wanna disappoint you but there are many vulnerabilities in the apps. For example, forticlient, if you know certain programming languages you would be able to bypass it. I wanted to create a vulnerability fix, but honestly, I've been too lazy. Also, I haven't included any programs for linux and there is a huge number of useful apps for ios and android that I haven't tested yet. There is much more out there that could help people like you and me struggling with this shitty addiction.
Thank you man. I really appreciate your kind words. I'm happy you found those apps helpful. If you ever found something useful, then don't forget to share. You owe us now!

I'm weary about blockers too because I love video games and it seems like 1. It's just like somewhat of a challenge, and 2. like I feel safer to not find porn but that just tempts me to see what I can find and that doesn't help anything at all lol. I find it's most powerful to just make sure I have the power to make the right choice. That being said, I'm looking into these blockers to help delay me if I do start to mess up

It becomes a problem if you think of it as a challenge. But if the blocker is strong enough you'll give up eventually.
I hope you don't mess up. Stay strong!

I updated the pluckeye-settings.txt file so that it now supports newer versions of pluckeye. In newer versions, it used to produce an error: failed to parse clear and the import fails.

I also added more porn sites to the list.

Updated the programs for OS X and added many step by step tutorials including one for forticlient.

Hey, I'm trying to uninstall Forticlient so that I can remove the Antivirus. I'd rather use Windows Defender, so at least I can turn it off when I need to.

I used a random password for Forticlient, so I can't uninstall. Do you happen to have the FCRemove.exe? People are saying that would work.

I don't have FCremove.exe. There is only one way I know that allows you to remove forticlient without the password. It's the only major vulnerability in forticlient. I have mentioned it in one comment.

Are you sure you want to know it?

I could create and send you 2 batch files that would delete forticlient. But I highly recommend that you delete them permanently after you use them. I don't have those files right now btw.

That would be great. I will definitely delete them after. I'm trying to upgrade to Windows 10, so I want to remove antivirus first.

I did send the password to myself with Futureme, but it's not coming in for another month.

It's very easy to bypass k9 especially after they have released an uninstall tool. Also, you have a very limited number of licenses and each could only be used on one device. Do you know how to generate k9 licenses?

I think the only possible way to use this is by also forfeiting your admin privileges.

    Thanks for sharing!

An accountability only solution might even work - if you don't have a "social bottleneck." I only have one guy monitoring mine (which blocks nothing, just reports) and I honestly don't think about it that much, but as long as you respect the person watching ENOUGH that can be enough of a deterrent to not to act on it or anything because though it's on all platforms you can just uninstall it, though he'll get a notification if I do.

Because it's socially based though, you need a real social connection. If APs are just kind of random people from the internet that you haven't taken the time to get to know then it may not work, though people can spend the time to get to know each other even if it started out meeting that way.
