flat line duration?

Ya i had once gone 80 days without PMO. And there was a considerable period of time where i had low libido.

 

How can i be precise? it can be 2 weeks or 3 weeks or 4 weeks. I just experienced it once.

 

It will depend on how old you are and how often you PMO'd and for how many years. Feel it until you stop feeling it, everyone is different.

 

I had various attempts on nofap the past year, hardly ever got past a week but each time I got to about 3 days I felt those 'superpowers' coming up. Now ive adapted a new mindset of increased awareness and I am now at day 8 without any struggle but I don't feel the 'benefits' of nofap like I did before, it actually seems like I went straight into flatlining, is this possible?

Im now at 8 of Clubs (Day 73) and i have flatlined since about day 20 so thats like over 50 days of flatline; no morning wood, few erections and fleeting sexual thoughts that dont last longer than 5 minutes. But the downside is that i get mood swings quite often and there was a point in time i felt so low i actually seeked help from a counsellor, you can read my journal to find out more.

Just wanna say that i am experiencing what you are going through, and sometimes i do get impatient waiting for the flatline to pass. But i think its best to really wait it out. I cant say for sure when my libido will be back or when i will start becoming "interested" enough in women again to proactively forge closer relationships with them. 50 days is a mightly long time man. I do admit that i am losing touch with some female friends at this reboot stage, like there was this girl who we used to chat everyday but now i feel that i am not as interested in her so i am making less effort to keep the conversation going. I am guilty of "neglect" in that sense but i guess when the flatline slowly starts to clear up you begin to realise what you have been doing, how you can improve the situation or relationship and what you will need to do to achieve your goals.

Wow, 50 days really is a long time for a flatline. Major props to you for having the strength of character to persist for so long. My last failure was after 3 weeks and my flatline of 5 days scared the hell out of me. I am better equipped with the knowledge that it will pass now though.

Hi im a 16 yo male and i have been on noFap for 43 days and im in flatline since the very first day... its really annoying and i hope it goes away fast... But, i have red that for younger people is takes longer

I thought it will be shorter since your brain is still developing and unlike the adults who have been PMO for years and are 'use to it'.

 

I'm on day 37 and came in on a flatline and am still there. No libido, no interest in women, no urge to PMO, no morning wood, no spontaneous erections, pretty much a dead dick. That being said I did have morning wood last week once and a two semis and I'm starting to have vivid sexual dreams again. Something that never happened during my PMO days, so hopefully that means my brain is healing. Hopefully soon my body will follow. Stay strong! From everything I've read it will eventually pass and we will all be tigers once again.
