Hi there, I understand you might need google for some academic purposes. I suggest you only use VPN when you have to use google. Otherwise use Baidu instead (I know it sucks..). Another tip is that you can install some porn blocker extension in chrome. Or maybe you can also watch some No PMO related videos on youtube, which I think really helpful for me. Hey bro, I understand why you would think about this. But I have to say every government has its advantages and disadvantages. I don't think it would be a good idea to judge the Chinese government here.
Yes. The life of Chinese people is somehow under the control of the govt as they might not be allowed to use google or youtube if you want to think through this way. But with this kind of property, the govt did a great job during this covid19 pandemic. People in China have been back to normal life. And how other places in the world? No offence. But I do think every government has its advantages and disadvantages. I am from China but live in Singapore right now. I think Asian-style governments have their own advantages.

事实上，我不认为中国的那些方法比Nofap成熟，在一定程度上中国的那些方法更加的focus在中医的一些方面，个人对此不是很感冒。我觉得your brain on porn 和 nofap都是比较好的途径，从一种相对科学的角度去理解这个东西，去了解这是个所有人种都面临的问题，会对我比较有帮助，个人想法欢迎交流。Btw, I think it would be better to write in English here which might help others as well.
