If thoughts are enough to get guys hard who suffer with PIED then why not just do this?

I suffer with PIED. I am upset that I suffer with PIED because I worry I won't be able to perform in sex, or get an erection good enough to perform in sex.

But see something I have noticed recently, is see if I am masturbating and I even think about previous porn or artificial sexual stimulation I have seen, I become really horny and my dick goes rock solid.

What I was thinking is why not do this if your with a woman. If your getting sexual with a woman, doing foreplay ext, and your not feeling much from it, then why not just think of these porn thoughts when you're receiving the foreplay from the woman?

I think if I did this there is a good chance I would become very horny and get a solid erection, and then this would enable me to actually have sex.

At least this would actually enable a lot of PIED sufferers to have sex?

When I think about it I reckon there is already a lot of guys that do this?

So because your brain is so sensitized for porn (and desensitized for everything else) that you are not able to get it up with real woman you basically want to try to fix it with porn fantasies....the same stuff that messed up your brain in the first place? Come on, you are just digging a deeper pit for yourself. Remove porn and masturbation from the equation and let the time and rewiring do its job.

I'm only meaning if you ended up in a situation where you were getting sexual with a female and couldn't get it up, then why not think about this stuff if it turns you on enough and actually enables you to get an erection so you can have sex.

In my opinion, if you need to think about porn when you are having or about to have sex with woman then you are effectively using that woman as masturbation device, not as valuable human being. You are not feeling connected to her.

If heroin addict takes more heroin to fix his withdrawal symptoms then he has not found cure for his addiction. He has merely found a new way to lie to himself to continue his unhealthy way of life.

Yeah I actually heard a guy say this in a video one time before. That if your thinking about porn and other sexual scenarios while having sex with a woman, then you're basically using this woman's body to masturbate.

I guess that is quite messed up in a way. But if you're in a situation that you can't get hard enough to have sex, but then thinking about all this stuff gets you hard enough to have sex, are you just supposed to just not think about that stuff, even if by thinking about that stuff it actually enables you to have sex?

Well, only you can make that decision. Personally I don't want to fantasize about something else when I'm getting intimate with my loved one. I want to be there for her on that moment and feel connected to her. Thinking about something else on that kind of moment would only drive me further apart from her.

But you still would be having sex with the person, even if your thoughts are else where.

Let's put it this way: would you really want her to think about somebody else when she has sex with you? If you would know that she would think about her ex-boyfriend to get aroused enough to have sex with you, how would it make you feel?

  9. The only way to get rid of PIED is to be patient. Otherwise, you'll end up in a vicious circle.

Let me describe it to you more vividly:

You want to get horny again, but you can't because of PIED, which is caused by your addiction, so you get horny by thinking about erotic stuff and get back deeper into your addiction, then you want to get horny again, but you can't because of PIED, which is caused by your addiction, so you get horny by thinking about erotic stuff and get deeper into your addiction, then you want to get horny again, but you can't because of PIED, which is caused by your addiction, so you get horny by thinking about erotic stuff and get deeper into your addiction........

If you've read it three times, then imagine how it will be transfered to your reboot cycle. It's months of working over and over without any progress!

Another thing was also mentioned by someone above, and it's even more important: you WILL end up objectifying women.

Refrain from sex for now, be more patient, and you'll be rewarded hundredfolds.

  10. You will escalate your thoughts to more hardcore things until thoughts will do not for you. This happened with me, it's not worth.

  11. I salute you oldpunk! Good points!

I was trying to do exactly this while suffering from ED. Even after doctors perscribed me medication against ED I could not manage to reach orgasm. It happened several times and it was not enjoyable for me nor my ex-girlfriend. She thought I wouldn't adore her enough and it was her fault that I was not aroused enough. But your tactics won't work. During sex you have to be active, change positions, listen to your partner... It is going to be so stressful that most guys won't be even able to manage to keep an erection long enough!

Get rid of porn and masturbation for some time! Your addiction is trying to play you! It will try to find every excuse possible to get what it needs!
