    Hi Fapstronauts,

Joining this community again after taking a few years off. My first attempted didn't last very long and ended in a long, long relapse.

I am addicted to porn. I hate that about myself. I lie to my friends and gf about it. I can't stand that about myself.

I'm 26 now and watch porn daily. Quarantine has been very hard and created a big uptick in my porn viewing.

I am sick and tired of being addicted to porn. Sometimes I think to myself, how long am I going to let this go on? For so long I told myself "You're in your 20's, this is perfectly normal and healthy, just let yourself follow these urges and they'll go away eventually." They aren't going to go away. Not on their own. In fact, they are getting worse. Today I am quitting porn for good.

I'm happy to be here with all of you. This isn't a journey I'm comfortable sharing with my close friends. But I also know I won't be able to do it alone. So, thank you to all of you. We're gonna beat this shit together.

  4. Welcome back, we are here to help one another.
Suggestions: first do a lot of reading. Get tips. Write down a plan that works for your situation. Include a list of other things to do when you feel the urge. Also make changes to your house and workplace; remove as much privacy as you can. Clean your computers of any p. Be visible to the outside world! Avoid all triggers and p-positive environments. If you can, talk with someone about this problem. Keeping it all in your head and thinking willpower will do the trick is a perfect setup for a relapse. Be patient, it takes a long time before your feel the benefits and it is a wild mental ride to get there. Celebrate every day clean with a cup of tea or coffee and a moment for yourself.

Welcome back fellow fapstronaut! I'm a new member here also struggling long term ( 12 years now ).Truth is i made the same mistake like you, i rationalized my situation.Im in my mid 20s also.Wouldn't it be better if we were free from this habit and started dating women in real life?Maybe find a woman who we can be committed to?This habit is very addictive. It is unreal, makes us desilusioned and we fall in other habits because of it, procrastination, self loathing, depression to name a few.Besides this "habit" of ours is unnatural.God created this kind of pleasure to be shared not for us be selfish and start lusting after every woman we see.Thats contrary to nature.Go out, don't stay alone and try to develop new habits.Start a strength training program. As Socrates would say: “No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable”.Learn a new language, organise your home or spend time learning more about your car or cars in general.Hope this advice can be of benefit.Remember to stay active to the forums so you cna receive encouragement
