Day 13, Padawan-

I stood facing the Ganjuko as it bellowed out a cry. I raised the stick that I had found as a staff in front of me, awaiting the attack. The Ganjuko charged at me at a speed that defied it's bulk. I dodged and rolled away at the last moment. My roll took me down a crevice left by the river.

As I came to my senses I heard a weak cry ahead. I progressed through the small canyon. I found that a flood had dislodged boulders and caused a rock slide. Trapped under the pile was a young Ganjuko.

I took my staff and dislodged a boulder enough to create an opening for the cub to crawl through. I climbed back out of the crevice and saw the Ganjuko greet its young.

"When you only give yourself a weapon to solve a situation," my master said standing behind me, "every thing is an enemy to be slayed."
