One week down! This week I focused on basic rhythms that would help keep my body in a healthy place. I choose some simple habits and stuck with them in a very disciplined way:
    1. I woke up at 6:00am every day, even on weekends. I've been doing this for a few weeks now. It helps keep your circadian rhythm stable, which directly affects mood and energy levels all day long (also it's much easier to fall asleep at night).
    2. I took a long walk outside first thing (at least 30 minutes, but usually closer to an hour). This is a fantastic way to wake up. You get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and blood flow. Add some nice stretches afterward and you're good to go.
    3. I took a cold shower every day. I won't get into all the amazing benefits of cold showers. If you haven't learned about it or tried it yourself, go look it up right now and consider taking up the practice. It's extremely good!
    4. I regulated my coffee intake. I decided that quitting cold turkey would be too extreme and could end up triggering a relapse. So, I disciplined myself to drink only one cup a day which I made at home and carefully measured the ingredients to make sure I was getting a consistent dose of caffeine. I can't stress enough how helpful this was to me!! Being careful with ANY casual drugs (like caffeine, alcohol, weed, etc.) is SO important. It's been much easier for me to remain emotionally stable, which in turn keeps me far more prepared to deal with urges. I've been alcohol free for over 2 months now.
    5. I ate meals at regular times and made sure to eat ENOUGH. Without getting TOO picky, I actually did some calorie counting to make sure I was eating enough of my macronutrients. Protein seems especially important for maintaining stable energy levels, so I focused on that the most.
Anyway, like I said before, taking care of yourself physically certainly isn't the ONLY important thing, but it REALLY helps with keeping things under control. Remember HALT: Hungry, Angry, Lonely, and Tired. Taking care of these basic needs with healthy habits and outlets really sets you up for success.

    Have a great day everyone!!

The freaked part is for real.
The problem is we rear hens and they mate like on an hourly basis. So am kinda worried that if this is to become a trigger than things are about to be really complicated.
    Thanks for response @terry

Just a few hours away from 7/90, the longest amount of time P/M/O free since I was very young.

Looking at the end goal is so hard but I feel it's much more manageable to break down into smaller goals like others have mentioned. Gotta keep pushing.

I have wondered that myself. And when she says that she is a former sex addict, well that doesn't help the triggering effect either.

    Day 60 of 90 complete! (No P)

  8. Thanks for asking. It'll be my hardest week yet because my wife is headed out of town for the week. I always struggle a lot more when she's away. I've got to stick to my plan of bed by a normal time and be open to ask for help as well.

Ah, I understand the worries. I'm only a rookie so can't really give a lot of advice, but I guess if you get close to relapsing calling your wife or coming to the form will help. And maybe some working out during the day so you can go to bed on time. You got this man!

I wrote down a new mantra today that I plan on repeating a lot in the next 3 months:

"I say no to shameful lusting from a distance. I say no to sex as a provider of meaning."

After thinking it through for a few days, that's where the problems are in terms of how I view sex:
    1. I often experience it as something that I'm not a part of - when watching P or spying on neighbors or staring at beautiful women on the street - and in that context it's always a huge source of shame.
    2. And then when I am in a relationship, the sex we have becomes this super important thing that I base the value of my manliness and worthiness upon.

90 day's to reset the mind and to 'reboot' is a myth. This is a life long struggle. Never will happen that you will be immune to porn. It will be easier, sometimes easy but each day can you fall in the pit if you become careless.

Day 40/90. Crazy I'm hitting this milestone, but need to remember where I want to end up. It's so nice to not be having mood swings and having a general "good" feeling. Been able to do a lot of the work I've been needing to do and have been doing a lot of things for fun, too.

I can understand how it feels especially after you relapse after a long streak. Stay strong and motivated. The next few days are going to be critical so keep hanging in there.

Day 4 completed. As I mentioned back in my previous post, the next few days are going to be very critical. Because after you relapse from a long streak, your motivation levels are low and the path forward is less unclear. But you just have to keep hanging in there. One step at a time. One day at a time. And then after few days have passed, things will get much better. So take each day as a challenge. In order to motivate myself, I'm keeping track of mini-challenges within the big 90 day challenge. Completed day 4 of mini 7 day challenge.
