I have problems with sleep during reboot

After couple days of nofap I start to randomly wake up during night and sometimes I can't instantly go back to sleep. It disrupts my sleep patterns and doesn't have very good influence on my energy during daytime. Anyone had similar experience?

I believe your body just needs some time to adjust. Rebooting is cutting habits, so moving out of your comfort zone. It's normal to see your body/mind going through things that don't seem natural. Give it some time and you'll be fine.

Yes I experience that and it's frustrating as hell. When I was fapping on the regular I could hit the pillow at 10 and sleep straight through till 6 or even 7. Now I wake up at least once a night, usually with wood and having to piss, and don't have truly good sleep any time after about 4. It sucks cause I'm on a weightlifting program and am supposed to be getting minimum 7.5 uninterrupted hours for maximum recovery. I rarely get that many hours in total and never in a single, uninterrupted chunk anymore.

I started regular exercises as well I tried to make my sleep patterns more regular, but because of this bs I feel tired for many hours a day. I drink 2 or 3 coffees a day and sometines I have 30-60 min nap (I was often doing this in the past but of a significantly lesser amount of time).

I don't know if it is that bad because I am early in the reboot, but up to this point there are only negative effects: my sleep is bad and my urges are more extreme (I have urges to do things I don't want to do normally when I fap often). When I was trying serious reboot in the past it was similar. Is it getting better or will I have problems with sleep forever?

I wouldn't be surprised if the withdrawal symptoms mess up with your stress hormone levels and when those are elevated then it naturally has negative impact on your sleep. I'm currently on day 56 and feel it as well. Before I started to reboot I didn't have any sleep problems. I'm confident that my sleep will normalize eventually. I just need to give it some time.

Good point on the hormone thing. I do know that from NoFap, a better diet and exercise I have reshaped my hormone profile dramatically. My muscle strength and definition have increased, I've lost my "spare tire" and my legs are noticeable hairier--all indications of increased testosterone. Hopefully these sleep disruptions are just a temporary price we pay as we restore our minds and bodies back to where they should be.

Just my experience but for me it went something like:

Sleep quality before nofap = 5/10
Sleep quality first 10 days of nofap = 5/10
    Sleep quality days 10-40(roughly) = 2/10
    Sleep quality days 40-60 = 5/10 increasing to 8/10

Unfortunately I fell back into PMO after that but like most things on nofap it seems that it generally gets worse before it gets better.

At least it seems that working out will be easier.
