Day 12 - Padawan

 

Good intention but also don't beat yourself up if you don't meet your own expectations. Sometimes it's better to dedicate yourself to learning from each experience, good or bad, rather than setting yourself up for failure with unrealistic goals. Aim for 90 days and learn along the way. If you have to reset at some point, so be it. Just don't stop aiming for 90 days. May the force be with you.

Youngling, day 0, relapse.
I'm extremely sorry that I didn't check in for 2 days. I was having trouble controlling my emotions. I had incredible fits of rage. I'm truly sorry.

Yesterday I relapsed but today was awesome. Day 1 done

 

Day 17 Padawan,

"Who we are never changes, who we think we are does"

 

I understand what you are trying to say, but if I tell myself I'm setting myself up for failure if I set an unrealistic goal, I'm basically telling myself that I'm afraid I can't do it. I would be telling myself that quitting is difficult. But I have a different approach now: understand quitting isn't difficult, because I'm not giving anything up. Porn does nothing for you. It's not even a pleasure or a stress reliever, but the exact opposite. If I know I'm not giving anything up, I don't have to struggle using willpower. Whenever an urge comes I just let it remind me how happy I am that I am free from pmo addiction. I just changed my mindset and made the decision, otherwise I would have to struggle until I hopefully one day reach 90 days.

Finding what works for you is important and it sounds like you're clear.

 

Day 13 - Padawan

 

Day 1, Youngling-

I had a dream where I was really angry and did evil things.... Someone saying they are a Jedi has come to take me to the Temple for training.

-I relapsed. I'm not to upset, I'm more surprised at just how easy it was to slip over into the dark side.
Remember, "There is no chaos, there is harmony."

 

Starting again, my resistance has become weak. I feel like I'm fighting myself and I'm tired.

 

66 days, Jedi Master

 

Day 17

 

Day 101, Jedi Master.

A great milestone, passing the 100 days mark feels good. I must say that I'm feeling a bit tense now, as though I need a release. Surely no P, but M crossed my mind yesterday. I thought about delaying gratification as I can be with my wife soon. I need to keep the fight going. The war is not over yet!

 

Congrats bro! I await you to form the council of Jedi Masters. No point of a one man council.
