Make a conscientious decision that when you feel urges or there's an attractive woman near by you're not going to engage. The mental part is so important. Sometimes it's unavoidable to see someone walk past you and not notice they're attractive, but there's a fine line between that and intensely checking out every girl you see. Having the right mentality is huge. If there's anything I've learned from the nine years I've been trying to defeat this addiction is that there are no short cuts. If you're genuinely willing to defeat this addiction the mentality absolutely has to be there. And I'll tell you it's hard especially at first, but then like everything else in life, once you make it a routine habit, it's not so bad! Good luck with your reboot mate.

Day 47/90. Things have been going well. I feel a bit sluggish the days I don't have two huge cups of coffee and a pop, and even then I still sometimes feel tired! I've decided to cut back on one of the cups of coffee to start to ease off caffeine. I've been addicted to coffee actually about the same time as I've had this PMO addiction. Wonder if there's any coincidence there. I've tried breaking both additions at the same time only to fail in both. Now that I've made a little progress with my PMO reboot, I'm going to really try to kick the caffeine habit as well. I don't want to go through the 3+ weeks of intense caffeine withdrawal headaches so I'm not going to be going cold turkey, but rather slowly easing off it.

Great stuff man. I've been seeing your posts for a while on this 90 Day challenge for a while and I wanted to ask how much has no caffeine and alcohol helped? For about a month I cut alcohol and I lost a lot of weight but I drink a beer a night with my gf. I do also want to reduce caffeine. Was that hard? Has it helped?

  10. Day 3/90
    Total clean days - 23
    Total PMO - 6
    Total P - 1
    Total hours remaining - 2088

I am feeling urges from my last relapse. One of a video of porn is stuck in my head. I relapsed while watching another video but that particular video is haunting me now. I know that it is useless but my mind keep on showing me that video. My goal is to get that first 10 days and then 20 and so on. I know now what I am asking from myself while accepting this challenge. I can do this. If I relapsed while watching P I won't do a PMO. That's a promise.

I’ve experienced the same thing, the images come out of nowhere but fortunately they also disappear by themselves after a while.

The human brain is a very strange thing!

I’ve experienced some weird FOMO as well, with thoughts like “I wonder if this model has posted new pictures, I so curious right now” etc.

Especially watching webcams has that effect, where my brain wants to stick around even if it’s boring because “something interesting might happen”.

To me this me proves there is a lot more to a PMO addiction than just (healthy) sexual cravings. Our minds build these whole systems of wants, expectations and rationalizations around consuming porn.

For those who try to quit PMO, this is an opportunity to learn a lot about how our minds work! I think the benefits can go beyond just quitting PMO..

Imagine generations in your family tree being affected for the better because of the choices you are making today to free yourself from the bondage of self destructive sexual behaviors.

We are establishing and solidifying a new identity one choices and one day at a time.

It’s not just about quitting self destructive addictions and patterns...

    NOPE

It’s about Freedom. Life transformation. It’s about adopting and living an entirely different lifestyle. Self mastery. It’s about being the driver and chooser of your life. It’s about Health (mental, emotional, sexual, physical). It’s about facing your fears and solving the complex problems of life. It’s about Community, Connection, Adapting and Maturing as Men to make an Impact.

Wow, if that’s not motivation to move forward, I don’t know what is.
Anyone have any other motivating reasons behind sticking to the challenge?
    Feel free to share.

    Cheers,
    Lamboskovich

I would suggest getting off the pop first. It's one of the worst things you can put in your body.Good luck with the caffeine. I've been battling it for years. I just dont want to quit bad enough.
