Hey guys, I relapsed yesterday after 27 days of nofap. The last day I was feeling amazing, I had confidence, energy - my depression and social anxiety almost didn't exist, unfortunately in the evening of the day I relapsed twice. I am wondering now, is my reboot back to previous level? Is it possible that my confidence and energy will back to me faster ? or I'll have to wait next 27 days?

I don't think your reboot is back to the level you were at when you started at day 0, but it is hard to say how much faster progress will be. In general it may not be as long as 27 days, but I think looking at it in this linear way is very limited. You may be doing new things that are helpful, which you didn't do in the 27 days streak. Waiting is not a way to do this. You don't have to come up with new things to practice all the time but just not PMO'ing is really not doing that much.

Even if the abstinence is your primary concern, what are you doing to prevent that from happening again a month from now? Luck? Or do you have an idea of why you relapsed and how you might prevent that?

You're right man. I don't know what to do now - I just want to feel like a man with confidence and energy, without depression and social anxiety - same as in the last days of my last streak. I've started going to the gym, I added meditation, healthy food, witamins, adaptogens.

Those are good things, I would say track all of them separately though. If you hit the gym extra hard along with adaptogens it may also increase the libido, which is not bad but if you don't want to act out on PMO that could make it harder. Just remember it's a long term thing so if you have to take a little less of the supplements or give yourself more recovery time by all means do it, you're just changing the pace slightly but staying with the routines.

Yea I noticed that when I take adaptogens my libido increases alot. It can be double-edged sword. I bought it because I feel tired, depressed.

    Sorry for my grammar.

No worries. Remember they say it's a good idea to have rest days with supplements sometimes anyway so you may actually get more for your money if you do that, and maybe that will prevent the libido from building too much pressure and risking PMO. You have to play it by ear but I think you can do both safely, track how much you take and your workouts right? Also the particular adaptogen(s) you take may matter, some are stronger than others and may cause heat etc.

Oh yeah Jarrow is a good brand, and there's probably good reason for all the ingredients in there. If you are working on adrenal support though it's also a good idea to think lifestyle and avoid stress. Exercise is one thing but notice if you get yourself in situations with chronic psychological stress or something and try to mitigate that. Also probably a good idea to take something with a decent B complex either by itself or as a good multivitamin, every practitioner I talk to says you blow through the B's fast when you're stressed.

I took yesterday 2 pills of this supplement (adaptogens) and my libido has skyrocketed. I thought about porn and girls whole day. If I want to beat this addiction, I shouldn't take this supplement, what's your opinion?

Yeah supplements can be a two edged sword. You may not even need it necessarily.

If anything instead of taking a formula with multiple ingredients you may also want to try a single herb, read up about it and start slow. I don't remember a lot off the top of my head but for example rhodiola is known to boost libido, and that formula has rhodiola in it.
