Day 38 and I'm really lost

    I want to mention first that I didn't completely follow the PMO thing.I just quitted masterbation for 38 days while still watching porn almost everyday.I know the whole process is mainly about quitting porn and rewiring,but I am an OCD patient and I don't know if it relates to the situation that I cannot take the anxiety of missing the porn I like.All I did was checking all the updated porn and saved those I like.I feel really lonely and lost now since I feel like without quitting porn the whole thing doesn't work,but I can't deal with the anxiety of missing porn.By the way I haven't had any wet dreams still and I really need some advice.I feel like I am going to fail this.
     
  2. Write down right now, you will not watch porn, or anything sexually arousing for 7, or 10 or 15 days more. With your no ejaculation streak going.
     
  3. I' d suggest you take a 7 day no porn challenge at least, with your 38 days no masturbation streak going. Write it down immediately on a piece of blank paper and keep it in your wallet, or better paste it somwhere you can see. Do this or you will masturbate soon, if not today. I know your situation well.

  5. Don't say you l try it out and what? Hopefully it will work? Thats the whole purpose of writing it down. Once you write down what you will accomplish, by whatever means, be it you are dead while doing it, you must complete. That's why keep it doable. 7 days. Or if that's too much keep it at 5.

    Doing NoFap while still watching porn everyday is totally pointless, you may aswell just PMO to it because your still getting all the harmful effects on your brain by exposing yourself to it.

    Sounds like your deep into addiction if the thought of going without it is enough to give you anxiety. You gotta hit rock bottom before you can quit any hard addiction and it doesnt sound like your their yet.

    If your saving videos for a later date your just telling yourself you have no real intention of quiting. Once you hit rock bottom you will know because thats where you find the iron willpower to quit.

    Yes,please be my accountability partner.I need a strong restriction and motivation to struggle through this.I promise I will make it through seven days.I really want to change,that's the meaning of my ID which is japanese.

  11. Man, you need to remember you are already making some progress, even if it ain't ideal. You are in a sort of half-way house.

    My first ever streak (back in 2015) was like yours, I went 82 days without wanking whilst still watching porn and I felt much better than I had previously.

    I'm not recommending this as a long term recovery strategy, but I believe there is some value in it. It's better than PMO five times a day, which is to say, it is better than nothing.

    You need to be careful with being too over zealous in cutting out the porn lest it precipitates a full blown relapse crisis. You want to consolidate your progress, not eradicate it.

  12. thats sad to hear but like people suggested here, start to cut porn from you life slowly, and may i suggest, and i think this plan will work great, sort start going back in time every time you do it, reducing the time spent watching, frequency Of watching, and also the content, and the click too, count every thing, try watch 1 minute less everytime, and if you do it 3 times a day, keep it at minimum 1 after a month start doing 1 day on porn, and day off, dont masturbate NEVER, forget about MO. Im inly suggesting this plan because you’re OCD. I truly hope it work because same strategy is used for other OCD’s on other addictions, you just quit like you started by going back through time. Recod everything and even set timer when watching if you could find a way to limit click that would be awesome too, make porn genre less hardcore and take baby steps it might take you more than 2 years but i garante you this plan is the easiest and safest for you. You main goal is to watch less and the genre has to be also less hardcore everytime and picture or video watched should be less too to train your mind to receive only less dopamine, the only thing you must be diciplined about is not matter what you counters have to be less than yesterday ect, even by the smallest margins
