  2. Sex/human traffickers should lose all their human rights the moment they are proven to be guilty and be liable to the death penalty.
The website though should be reprimanded for not taking complaints seriously and ignoring requests for removal of videos. Taking it down just like that is not the way to go.

Trust me Ik but this is the best thing that we have yet, and showing that over 1.5 million people want this website shut will get some serious attention

  4. The thing is that the website itself is not responsible for any of these. Unless you can prove otherwise.
It is just a platform that kidnappers used for posting their videos. I would argue that if it weren't for the website some of the kidnapped might have never been found. So you see this isn't that simple.

I don't see ph as the problem.

Same way that bars aren't the problem for alcoholics

Same way that casinos aren't the problem for gambling addicts

Same way that fast food places aren't the problem for food addicts or those largely overweight

Lots of industries are corrupt and have a dark side, including porn. There's always gonna be some people who take advantage of other people.

Life is full of options and choices. We all have to find our own ways of living our lives.

My way won't be your way. Only you can find yours by trying things out, succeeding and failing until you find what works for you.

CS1 I've read your post a few times, it seems cryptic and a bit of a riddle. Am I wrong, I'm not sure of the point and I'd like to understand.

I joined nofap to get support and support everyone who has suffered negative life consequences due to high-speed internet pornography.

I'm thinking of leaving this forum, take this thread for one, people defending porn addictions and any other addiction. Internet trols or genuine reasonable argument that maybe I don't get?

@Lucio Main What you say is real. It all starts within ourselves.
But what if we stop this hypersexual culture in our society?
Don't you want your kid to live in a safer place. Rape culture through p is real. Of course you can raise your child not to watch gamble drink etc but how can we be sure that all children in the world remain children and not getting exposed to tempetations? Its not just us, not all people are informed about the possible dangers of p. Let's make this a safer place happier for the next generations and stop thinking about ourselves. good luck!

  10. I don't think that Ph is going anywhere any time soon, no matter how many petitions are signed. At the end of the day people have a choice to consume a product or not. Here on Nofap we have chosen not to and we give our reasons why. Again it is a choice to be a part of this movement. Banning something or making it taboo only increases the desire to have it. I think that a step in a more positive direction would be to urge the porn industry to start charging for access to their sites. This would help reduce the amount of underage users who do not have access to a bank account and some may decide that it is not worth paying for.

Of course I would love to live in a perfect world where none of us we dealing with the negative effects of addiction.

Good and bad define each other. We can't have one without the other. For me if I can try to find and give back more good than bad then I've found meaning in my life.

  13. Unfortunately yes, like social media sites. We are not the customer. It's a poor business model because it makes money on the time that we spend using the product. That means it is made as addictive as possible for the benefit of the site and the companies (customers) that use the platform to advertise their products.

@Sober is free This is exactly how it works unfortunately. Good thing is that we are the ones who can change this. We impact more than we think so.

Just a thought that literally just occurred to me, I know the pitfalls of pmo addiction, that's why I'm on here. But in the last couple of years I'm finally seeing big improvements, I can count on one hand relapses and have had many long streaks, one of the thoughts that keeps me going in times of need is just how fucking weird it is to watch, take pleasure from and masturbate to other people engaging in sexual practices. Anyone agree? I mean, why not ban the lot? no more porn, or are we too messed up and far gone as a species? Humans hey, embarrassing.

The porn industry is a multi billion dollar industry and they will finance "experts" to champion their cause. They will spin it so they make porn out to be healthy, normal, everyone does it! If guys didn't watch porn they would rape instead, etc. Or they will flat out deny porn is problematic.

The average Joe will have to hit rock bottom to even contemplate porn being the source of his problems. Maybe if it was widely accepted that porn was bad by the scientific community but most of those scientists don't wanna rock the boat and go against the grain.

If government was to ban porn then they would risk losing votes to the party that promises to restore access to pornography.

And then assuming there is someone out there smart enough to take on the established view of pornography. With enough fight and determination would it even be worth it for him. Probably not.

  18. Sign the petition but don't expect it will do much. But try to influence your friends and family to not give the porn industry a penny. No watching. Nothing. Cash is all they understand. Don't give them yours.

As much as I would love to see ph cease to exist, I really doubt it will ever happen.

As far as I'm aware, all ph is required to do is remove the content once they've been "made aware" of it. Beyond that, there would be no point in targeting ph. Even if you do take down ph, there's a thousand other sites out there that don't even monitor their content as much as ph does.

    It's unfortunate, but it's true.
