35 and Older Accountability Group

Dam. I’m dead last as of 6/30. Getting smoked just like my burgers would be getting smoked this 4th of July if I wasn’t working.

 

Congrats!! Not easy to get there but totally worth it! Let's keep on climbing towards freedom.

Thanks guys! I'll do my best JJ. And David, to some, including myself at times, 5 days feels like an impossible dream. That's how it felt for me for most of April when the best I did was 3 days, with it usually being less than 1. It's just a matter of running with the ball once you've got a hold of it. At 5 days, you've got a solid grip, just keep running. For me its been more of a matter of lifestyle and habits changes than of willpower. Willpower alone only gets you so far.

 

I just went to a chat site. Went to the URL but didn't log in. I closed it and came here instead. I'm 7 hours away from making it 6 days.

 

Back to 0 again.

One day at a time.

 

1 is better than 0.

 

I have read the rules and would like to join this group.

I'm 45 and have been sober for some time. Then Corona and the lockdown came and I got totally derailed. Not I am trying to get a grip again.

I'be be really happy if I could join the group.

 

You should have seen the leader board (bottom of post #1) at that time. It was a disaster. You would have fit right in.
