I'm a 16 year old kid who had been watching porn since 4th grade, I always knew I was addicted but I never realized what it was doing to my body. I suffered from PIED for a long time, but my girlfriend was supportive and helped me get better and after almost 9 months of NoFap, I am able to have sex and do all the stuff that a normal person can.

When I first began I believed there was absolutely no way that I could ever get hard organically again, but after enough hard work and effort I finally succeeded and so can you. It really takes a while to work but if you have the mental resolve and the determination to do it you can truly do anything you want. I lost faith throughout the journey, I had suicidal thought pretty often, but I made sure never to relapse because relapsing once will make everything you do go to waste. My tips for people struggling with PIED and a porn addiction is to first HATE PORN! Hate what it did to your body, hate anything you see that is provocative in anyway at all. If you have a girlfriend or wife or friend with benefits, don't receive nudes. These are JUST AS BAD as porn. Eventhough its a real person you know, there is a mental disconnect in your brain between reality and porn. Even though you want to be able to get erections, don't try to get them unless you are with your significant other. It's like you are training your penis to know what is good and what is bad. An erection with your s/o is a positive reinforcement, an erection by yourself is negative reinforcement and can possibly stunt your recovery. Do not masturbate even without a video because it is still negative reinforcement. When engaging or attempting to engage in sexual activities with your s/o focus on your senses other than your sense of sight, focus on the sounds and the feelings because this helps create a disconnect from the years of porn you have watched. Try to make the only time you are sexually aroused be when you are with your partner.
Most important of all is stay focused and don't relapse.
No matter how hard it is for you to keep going you always need to ask yourself if you'd rather fap by yourself to porn or have sex with your partner. I used that as motivation and it carried me through to a path of success. I haven't completely healed yet but it is safe to say that I don't have to worry about my penis being completely unresponsive to arrousal.
