Porn and masturbation induced night terrors.

    I was on a 101 day streak with absolutely no ejaculation, not even wet dreams then one night I couldn't stop thinking about past sexual experiences and then I exploded. After that I have been relapsing for the past week. What I found was that when I masturbate/ watch porn is when I would wake up in the middle of the night and still be in a dream. I would see stuff in my room e.g. spiders or snakes or even silhouettes laying next to me or standing in my room. Has anybody also experienced this? And if so can somebody please refer me to articles explaining this phenomenon. It only happens to me when I masturbate/watch porn. Thank you in advance

    What was the tenor of the dream that consisted of snakes and spiders? Were they moving toward or away from you? What emotion did they excite in you? Did it feel like a positive or negative situation? Any other details that were in the dream?

    Too be honest I do not remember the dream. When I woke up I and saw the snake it was next to me and I punched it, jumped out of my bed and ran out my room. The same goes for the spiders I jumped up and switched my light on and there was nothing. I get overwhelmed with fear and I am not even scared of spiders or snakes, it's just a very weird experience.

    Why spiders and snakes are demonic.. god, we shouldnt go that far. It sounds like hallunications, are you on any drug?
    When i was watching porn i would see strange dreams but hallunications are sth else.. Also do you get sleep paralysis?

    I do not use any drugs and I haven't gotten sleep paralysis. I only got it once when I was younger and this only happens when I watch porn and fap.
    I don't think its hallucinations, its more like I dream and I wake up, but somehow I am still in the dream. Like I dreamt once of a train and when I woke up I saw a train coming at me, I think it probably depends on what I dream

    I have had hallucinations and nightmares when I have been deeply involved in my addiction and disconnected from God. In my dreams I find myself in filthy bathrooms or lockers rooms with shit and piss everywhere. I have been convinced for a long time that this has something to do with a demonic presence. Porn does take our minds and souls into some dark places. And it creates extreme disconnection especially from God.

    I have experience hullucination and it was the worst for me.. I absolutely hated it.

    No not mad, more disappointed for being weak and lasting so long and then fall back, but before this 101 day streak I had a 110 day streak so I can do it again.

    When you and private eye mentioned that it could be demonic, it actually got me thinking and it really makes sense. I found that usually I relapse when I have university exams so I will have to watch out in the future when I have exams again to be careful

    It's quite scary in the moment, because you are basically just waking up and then you see stuff, like I feel that cold dread fear feeling when I see those things.
