If you made a mistake just turn right round and keep going and avoid making same mistake again, just one relapse in a whole month is not a bad thing at all, stay focused and be in control of your mind and thoughts!

  6. Still not quite this month either. A minor setback as long as I keep going like nothing had happened, other than setting 0/13.

Oh yes, hello! Almost forgot about this. Let's see, this is day 4. I believe that makes this day 1 of step 3.

Relapsed yesterday and realized how pointless it was,I am at day 1 and I will go for those first 5 steps again, gonna do it now without hesitations, hope you guys are doing well and stay positive!

  11. I want to be a rookie again with rookie's mindset and fresh excitement.

"What is this nofap thing? You raise to a new level by not jerking off and watching naked girls on screen? I want to try that!"

It's a blessing and a curse. Both of my best streaks so far happened relatively early in my recovery and I've been struggling to get back up there ever since. The "pink cloud" is real.

Day 3 step 3! Today was tough, but I made it. Not today!

  14. Nice article. I didn't know the term. I didn't mean the naive view that it's like turning a switch, and everything changes. I just feel having been stuck for so long. Perhaps you could have the excitement and curiosity of a beginner again. Motivation to do the work, provide and receive support. I've been feeling too indifferent to sense that my life would be at stake, for example.

I guess a lot of this whole NoFap is about an invitation for all people to challenge themselves to cut their porn consumption, and see the consequences themselves. An excited rookie would probably think: "For sure I'm going to do that!"

Don't you think that day-counting challenges should feel effortless if time is running so fast, escaping in other parts of life?

Damn, if I'd relapsed literally an hour later I would be on step 4 right now... Unfortunately, I relapsed this morning, at 6am. Back to day 1 of step 3 for me.

    Step 2 day 2

You are absolutely right,if nofap is constantly on your mind you will end up PMO-ing once again because everything you are thinking about is not to do so (like that classic example-if someone tells you not to imagine a freak ass bear smoking pot you are gonna imagine it 100%).Try to occupate yourself with some healthy goals and habits and work on em daily and think positively!

  19. I wish you the needed strength and discipline to complete the step now. It's so important to avoid the vicious cycle after a relapse.

  20. @thinking_differently Congrats for completing three weeks already. It's looking good! Keep rocking man!
