I know for a fact lockdown has been tough on me. Addiction thrives in isolation, and currently we're living through a whole lot of it. Trying my best to stay connected though.

  2. the stress levels for me were higher than ever when it first started. Social interaction with friends outdoors made it somewhat easier to deal with this addiction. Everday was a battle to get through. Recently trying to keep more positive and doing things that i love to do.Plus side bars are closed. Alcohol was an issue too so now i dont miss it. Its really a mixed bag this lockdown. I prefer to think its a reboot for all of us to refocus on ourselves as human beings.

Noteworthy that it includes alcohol and gambling as well.

    Don't wait, don't be a statistic.

While this kind of study is useful, all studies GENERALIZE. It's not a case study that is focused on any individual getting the best result, but we can do that for ourselves.

#5 on their list says to try new things, that could include new things in your individual reboot process. If anything can't hurt but could help, it's worth considering. Copying a generic game plan a bunch of other people do will get you in the door on a general level but we all live unique lives.

  5. Definitely Corona virus has lead to more consumption of Pornography.
Many people are hook up to pornography through internet.
In lockdown while staying at home, there isn't much to do and people use internet and social media.
Social media and internet or even t.v can be strong triggers to pornography, and thus, being triggered people go back watching porn.
While they have nothing else to do, they will be watching pornography for hours.

Gentlemen, what a perfect time to knuckle down and own your self. Succesfully completing one year, I know the beginning is hard. But take the time to study hypnosis, nlp, nac, because they all help in changing your mind into a stronger mindset. It is all about the unconscious brain and its associations. You got this!

I'm almost one month completely, 100% not even peeking clean. In April I only PMOd once so I'd like to think I'm ahead of 30days in progress. Excited to share my experiences on success stories when I feel like I've truly mastered it

  8. I'm on day 94 today, so covid-19 neither impacted my ability to recover from porn,

nor did it have any impact on my health.

Do you think social media takes away a lot of things such as depression as people are always comparing with themselves?

Everytime I reach 30+ days i start experiencing benefits, but its first time I am not receiving any benefits even after reaching 90 days hardmode. Urges are too high since few days, but there not a single glimpse of benefit like high motivation, more energy, better relationship, less anxiety. What to do, i am fed up

Bad habits, alcoholism, internet addictions of all types, anti social behavior as most all bad habits involve intense selfishness, passivity in all its forms can be replaced by good habits.

Check in with people more often, reach out to people you haven't spoken with in a while, let your good self be active and appreciated. Truly selfishness is the path to unhappiness.

The bad habits cut across all demographics especially those civilized people who have been cut off from normal culturally enriching activities like houses of worship, sports, musical performances, etc..

Christian people may have it worse: https://friendlyatheist.patheos.com...eloping-huge-porn-addiction-evangelist-warns/

if it wasnt for me realizing my addiction and starting nofap, for sure it would have increased. But because i started nofap in march 2020 a little before my quarantine started, i have been doing way less porn in quarantine

I applaud this approach but would be very weary of the nlp approach. NLP has literally been defined as a form of psychological warfare and weve seen recently people using it all over in marketing and more every year. It purposly plays to your addictions. Study it yes,be aware but do not practice it on others as many market it as a pick up technique or mind game. These could be triggers an lead one to a negative space. Protect your mind brothers and sisters.
