Is Most All Porn Just Advertising for Prostitution?

Think of the economics of porn; women turn 18 and according to the laws of most countries they can have sex and do porn. Many think that that is too young for girls a couple years from puberty, physically and emotionally developing and immature still.

What else earns so much potential money, with the alternatives lacking in such profit? Waiting tables, working in a store at minimum or slightly more of a wage, going to college with all the expenses entailed with that--these are the standard paths to work.

But in porn and erotic modeling they are paid hundreds of dollars per shoot and can use those scenes and pictures as advertising for escort and prostitution services.

One "actress" described the economics but she was in the top tier of popular models:

"The amount I made per scene depended on which company it was that I was shooting for at the time. G/G ranged from $600-$1400 and B/G $900-$2000. As far as escorting goes, I made $1800-$5000 an hour (once again, depending on which agent was booking me and what kind of client it was). If I were to fly out of the country and spend time at someones palace for two days, it'd be $25-50k." Charlie Sheen was one of her clients. Her actual name was Desire Robart, died of a drug overdose.

Are there any women not willing to do escort or prostitution services with these economics and the reality of unpleasant porn environments worse than interacting with the one percenters?

Why would anyone be in the porn business unless they wanted to make money off their bodies? Think of it, no one would suffer the abuse and infamy of making a fool of yourself unless the money was the point of it.

  4. Things are not always black and white my dear fellow. People do a lot of bad things to themselves for a variety of reasons, one of them being money.
