    I personally agree with @ahighertruth. We all have powerful energy inside us, strong masculinity, that we waste while jerking off to porn. We need to preserve it, to use it for making us better and more appealing not only to woman but also to friends, family, future colleagues, strangers.

    I salute you (out of my own compassion) that you still believe in love. Im 37 and I can either know and understand women or love them.
    In fact, I cannot love them. Because for this I would have to forget all that Ive learned about them.

    It is true from my own 1st hand experience (sorry the words didnt line up well). All the energy will keep building up when you do Nofap. It makes way for deeper meditation and you will feel more motivated to go out and meet girls because PMO is no longer an option.

    If you really want a girlfriend, then start asking out girls. Ask out girls from school, from the mall, anywhere. All I can say is just be yourself when you do it. Don't try to 'act' confident and interesting around girls, just be yourself. Talk to women like how you talk to your best friend. I'm 17 years old too and I've scored a few dates by just being myself, one of them was popular on instagram. Every girl I tried to pull an act on rejected me. Of course rejection is a risk you have to be willing to take. It sounds scary, but it isn't as bad as it seems.

    A little update for you guys! I had my first kiss with an amazing girl this August, and after a few days, I had my second one with another one. I just stopped caring too much, I didn't search for it, and it came. Now I am happy with my results. Finally, I understood that I can be liked by girls, and I am not so ugly as I thought I was. Now, with higher self-esteem, and without the weight of not having kissed a girl before, I can focus on myself better. I don't need a girl now, I know that I can get her whenever I want because I have got value.

    I also understood that girls never look only at the appearance, but even at charisma, at behaviour and at how you treat them. I think it is a 50% beauty, 50% personality. I personally feel different from other guys of my age. I am an old fashioned man, I like to conquer them with great manners, I like making them feel wanted and loved. Maybe that's what nowadays girls want, at least in my country.
