Fantastic work xXsinnerXx! It's really helped out and hopefully will be what's needed for me to break a 16 year habit/addiction. Intially i tried No PMO and reached 40 days but P got the better of me. Now I am determined to reach 90 days no PMO, but am going to work on my P addiction first - that's for life. I plan to never wacth it again and with all you have done I feel it will be possible! I wondered if you or anyone else knows a way to block it on PS4/Xbox? Even a way to permently delete the internet browser app would be good. I tried the free trial a parental app they had and it was rather terrible, I could easily find P. Any help is much appreciated!

Your words seems great, I'll try your mentioned ways and I'll give you my feedback later,
just to mention that i never had any software or any way that could block me from my stupid decision to PMO when it happened and relapsed before

Hey MasterNate, if the following steps work for you, then tell me because I want to add them to the main post!

Under Parental Control/Family Management options in your PS4, you can set controls in two areas: at the system level [PS4 System Restrictions] and at the user level [Family Management].

Settings Applied to ALL PS4™ System Users

You can choose whether or not to allow access to the Internet Browser:
    1. On your PS4 system, go to [Settings] > [Parental Controls/Family Management] > [PS4 System Restrictions]
    2. Enter the existing system restriction passcode. If you haven't set one before the default is 0000 (or [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG] on the DS4 controller).
    3. Select [Default parental controls].
    4. Scroll down to 'Use of Internet Browser' select 'not allowed'.

Changing the Parental Controls passcode. This should be done by a trusted friend or a family member.
    1. On your PS4 system, go to [IMG] [Settings] > [Parental Controls/Family Management] > [PS4 System Restrictions].
    2. Enter the existing system restriction passcode. If you haven't set one before the default is 0000 (or [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG] on the DS4 controller).
    3. Select [Change System Restriction Passcode].
    4. Let a friend or a family member enter a new 4 digit passcode using the corresponding buttons on the PS4 controller.
    5. Enter the passcode a second time to confirm.
    6. Once set, you can change the system restriction passcode at any time from the same area.
That's it! The Internet Browser is blocked at the system level.
If you're having a problem finding 'Parental Controls' then check this:

    Note:
I personally prefer changing the settings at the system level but if you want to change the settings for specific users, you can go to [Settings] > [Parental Controls/Family Management] > [Family Management]. A friend would need to create a new 'master' account.
A short video for setting up Family Management:

If you chose 'Family Management', your friend would have to change the login passcode of the Family Manager account:

Nothing could stop you if you made the decision to relapse. Porn blockers can't replace willpower but could help when you're weak. Stay strong man!

Cool. I hope they work well for you!

Man, I even used an app to block every app except whatsapp in my weak hours (from 0:00 to 12:30) and I managed to go through it by finding a bug. I think this smartness should be used for somethin more useful and less stupid!
I'll give a try to your Windows resources, because I've just blocked my whole phone during my weak hours.

I splitted the screen and realized that if I didn't touch the non-whatsapp app I could watch it, so I followed this pattern: Split Screen, open youtube, split screen, touch searchbox, split screen, etc. until I was watching these videos :(
Now I have blocked my whole phone in my weak hours but I managed again to get over this app, I touched "disable screen overlay" from notifications and this app would let me a 0.3 seconds (aprox) window to disable it. I disabled it... BUT, I was strong enough to enable it again and disable this notification for ever. I hope I won't find any window anymore.

Which app lock are you using?
    I personally use DoMobile applock:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.domobile.applockwatcher&hl=en

  12. I agree with some of the people who posted here. Blockers which are designed specifically to block me from using porn when I want to use it don't seem to work. I think the idea is similar to what I've heard people say about drug addicts: just lock them in a room or tie them to a bed, and then they will regain their senses. This doesn't work for me when it comes to porn. I can just find porn somewhere else. You can always find something on google images which is not blocked if you look hard enough. Maybe it is because porn is so easily accessible. If it were possible to put me in a cabin at the top of a mountain for a year, it might work. But otherwise, I'll just look for porn elsewhere, and every blocker I've ever tried to use can be circumvented somehow.

For this reason I've come to believe that a blocker helps only with two things: (a) to give some time to reconsider and (b) to block accidental triggering. I've had the best success with Pluckeye because this is exactly how it works. It blocks all images and videos (satisfying item (b) above), but you can turn it off with a preset delay (satisfying item (a) above). So if I want porn, I can turn it off, but I'll have to wait 15 minutes. Of course I could just get around it at this point, but it will be just as hard as waiting 15 minutes.

I have tried all the standard blockers countless times, with long complicated passwords that I split into different parts and hide in various places around my home and work. But it never works for the above reasons. I think the desire to stop porn has to come from within, not forced from the outside. But it can help to have this reconsidering time and to block triggering.

I'll try that one because mine ("lock me out") is not working for me. Today I lost my 5 day streak by doing this stupid weird thing: (because the only thing I could use is lock screen) I opened a Facebook message (it is a overlay so it is allowed to be above the blocker), browsed through messages until I found this one that contained a facebook link, then facebook browser opened (all this was showind above my blocker because they are overlays, similar to youtube PiP) and I found this direct link to Youtube, then I searched "google.com" in the search box, found this moron video showing this link to google.com and then I messed it up... It's so frustrating. I removed every overlay except for this applocker. I'm saying all this because it makes me feel better. I'm gonna try your applock.

I personally use a longer delay of 3 hours. I think waiting for 15 mins isn't that hard.
    Have you tried lockbox.pluckeye.net ?
I assume you're using google safe search. I believe images are way less damaging than porn videos and you could block google images using pluckeye if you don't use it often.
There are completely new filters that we made for windows. Check them out if you want. You just run the program and it will block porn forever. Set it and forget it. No password needed.

This app blocks all in-app browsers like the facebook browser you're talking about. It also blocks other browsers except the filtered spin browser:

Thanks for this information. Sorry it took a while to get back to you, I wanted to give it a few days of testing. I don't think the disabling of the internet browser worked, but for some reason the web filtering is working now. I'm not sure if it was because the Trend Micro software needed time to start working though. I think I still have 20 days of the free trial left so will see if the web filtering results change after that time. I also tested my Mac with Qustodio whilst with my housemate and think I found a way around which is probably already known about. I will now be purchasing a lock box for my Mac which will have number padlocks that my housemate sets and will be stored in their room. Its an extreme measure but I have found simply by blocking any access to P on all devices I tend to just forget about it and so far (12 days, so not too long) havent really even thought about it. Although I do have temptations to M I am trying to stop that for 90 days as well.

I know some people dont think blockers are the best idea, and I admire them if they dont relapse on will power alone, but for me the blockers have been so helpful (especially on the PC and iPhone!). By knowing I wont be able to access any content I just dont think about it too much. Yes, there are ways around these things but the PC and iPhone method has been well tested on Day 1 and I found I couldnt crack it. I dont wish to know of any methods to do so either. Of course 12 days is still early days, but I feel more confident of success with the blockers than without. This community has really helped.

Thanks for your feedback man. You're right, there aren't many good apps for OS X, unless you're willing to forfeit your admin privileges. I wanted to ask what lock box you're using. I know it may seem as a stupid question but I have a friend who needs one to place his router inside it as he doesn't want to use superglue on the reset button.

    Thanks for your reply!
