We're living through a spiritual dark ages. Wish I could help but I don't know how. I am as trapped as the next guy.

Because we've allowed some companies, like Mindgeek and WGCZ Holding, to do what they wanted with online porn; we've allowed them to expand and get rich behind not only filmmakers, actresses and actors, but also us users; now we end up with real multinationals that, as they are structured, are very difficult to knock down. Mindgeek alone handles almost 80% of the world's porn traffic, including several video-sharing sites (those that do not require age confirmation to access them), along with WCGZ Holding, Hammy Media Ltd and AMA Multimedia LLC.

I think it's the parents fault. A 6 year old should be playing with board games and not mobile games. It is the responsibility of the parent to guide the child.

 

Also another thought out of topic. Alcohol is legal in my country, but weed is not Like, wtf? Porn HAS to be ILLEGAL! I mean as illegal as cocaine, heroin etc.

 

I agree. Porn should not be on the unrestricted part of the internet, in my opinion, but it's parents' responsibility to protect their children from it. Especially as young as 6!

 

A child of 6 years old shouldn't be given a mobile. I'm not saying be super-strict on the child, but don't be so liberal and say, 'my child will live his/her life the way he/she wants.'

I mean, learning how to use a technology is great, but see.. You have to do it with an older human being besides you. You just can't sit there and explore that wild world all alone.
Phones are important. It's part of the past, now and sure thing part of future. Withouth them life would be little different, because even if without them there's a lot of comfort, they are going to be more of a necessity in future than ever.
I guess it's more about how you learn those things. Doesn't matter wherever you're 6 or 16 when you learn those things. Young, immature brain wont filter too much anyway. It's up to parents, schools etc. to at least try to do their best when it comes to explaining what's good what's not.
I think grown ups are too scared to just really tell kids everything about porn, it's too much of a sensitive topic.

 

When i have kids i will give them dumbphones.

I blame Apple, Google, and Zuckeeberg for creating the endless pit of addiction in thw first place. Even if children dont get addicted to porn they still get addicted to phone and its tragic
