Nervous, anxious, easily frustrated/pissed off, jittery, glass-eyed, sleep-deprived and with slightly irritated bowels. That's at least what I got from drinking coffee six days per week and nothing I want to resume ever again. Coffee is a neurotoxin, stimulant and drug whose addictive and harmful effects are never discussed in the mainstream.
Probably because political leaders, big-pharma and big tech-companies see it as much easier to manipulate and control people if they are attached to drugs of various kinds. At least, it makes their job a whole lot easier if people are sick, addicted to caffeine (and/or other substances) and can't think for themselves, hence questioning their purposes.

    True statement!
Unfortunately, most people feel their egos, lifestyle and personality attacked if you claim coffee is a very harmful and addictive substance. Plus, they are probably afraid of a life without it, so they continue drinking it and move on not having any true contact with their body and emotions.

One property that makes coffee (and coffee-beans) so toxic is the carbohydrate-bonding lectin proteins found in the beans. These proteins poke a hole in your intestinal whole so much of the unabsorbed/digested food (i.e. shit) go out from there.
You literally have shit running in your blood-stream upon drinking coffee, making you (literally) full of shit so no wonder why coffee-drinkers (especially heavy coffee-drinkers) have such digestive issues, malabsorption of nutrients and a malfunctioning metabolism. Not to mention the neurotoxic effects it has on their psyche and mind.
Needless to say, the pressure to drink coffee in the Nordic Countries is huge and you're literally looked upon suspiciously if you say you don't drink coffee or tea. Hence, the social pressure is just as big of a reason as to why people drink it as the addictive properties.
Literally, like the kind of outcast you would be seen as in Russia if you say you don't drink alcohol at all.

Been drinking decaf for the past 5 days...and my god i feel so much better. I have been having a larger appetite too because caffeine is an appetite suppressant. I would rather get my energy off delicious healthy food than tricking my brain that I'm full and destroying my adrenal glands by having constant rushes of adrenaline through my veins.

This so called "science" saying that coffee is good blah blah blah is nonsense. Science has a way of having a bias when it comes to conducting studies - and of course well funded by big coffee.

    True!
Keep in mind that the news channels tell people the kind of news they want to hear (like: "coffee in moderation is actually good for you", "studies show that coffee-drinkers live longer", "Drinking coffee decreases your risk for diabetes", etc, etc), not what they actually need to hear because if they did, the news-agencies would be swarmed by angry watchers (and coffee-drinkers) calling in since got their feelings hurt by hearing news claiming their favorite beverage is "harmful and toxic", how dare they?!
It gives people a perfect excuse and reason to continue their toxic habit just as before, while remaining slaves to it, not realising they waste both their money, energy and potential by keep drinking it. Not only the coffee-producers and manufacturers make big bucks on keeping people addicted and enslaved but so do the leaders in charge, big-pharma, the processed-food industry, and many others.

If even a measly 10% of coffee-drinkers stopped drinking coffee tomorrow, I swear that these three businesses would bleed a lot within only a few months.

of course. and they all say ''I drink it because I like the taste'' well somehow, without caffeine doesnt taste the same right! (and I hear the same from alcohol drinkers- like cmon, alcohol tastes like shit...

the same science that says ''drinking wine is healthy because of...'' (then they list something irrelevant like reservatrol content that you can easily get from other food sources and that doesnt do much good if you mix it with alcohol anyway...) ;) its all a scam. of course its fine to drink it once in a while, small amounts but people like to think this means they can drink a bottle every 3 days. and that its healthy because it gives them a temporary dopamine boost.

I live so long without these things that when I do it, I feel the slight boost but then very quickly I feel tired, depleted and depressed and I actually need 1-2 weeks for my dopamine to rebalance itself. Which proves, that these substances are for/work only for people who are already not balanced, which further increases their dependence and vicious circle. perfect trap.

I feel good on my own. When I work hard, and finish some project I feel great - natural dopamine booster from my own productivity.
It doesnt work like that with people who live unhealthy. They feel shitty and have no energy so they need artificial pick up like alcohol or caffeine to feel good. Of course, they lack motivation and clear mind to be able to sustain working on the side on something that gives them joy. Usually its mostly alcohol caffeine nicotine sugary stuff and porn that gives them joy. But deep inside, they are unhappy.
I generalize a bit, but thats the general scheme of things I think.

Right on point!! Working hard and accomplishing something should be our hit of 'coffee' not the consumption of coffee itself.

  8. After seeing the post of @Angus McGyver , I stopped drinking coffwe, it's been almost 2 weeks and I feel better. It's quite interesting.I drank coffee almost everyday, but it was easy to quit.I feel more energetic.I drank smoothie instead of coffee when I entered the coffee shop with my friend to not break my coffee free streak. But still, coffee is not something I want to get out of my life. After a while, I will continue to drink coffee in moderation.

For me there was never moderation.
I mean... the very way these things work undermine every effort for the ''moderation'' to work.

Even with discipline, if I ''moderately'' enjoy alcohol, I still need to go through the cycle of ''wanting to drink'' and cravings. Even when I don't slip or give way to my cravings.

And its annoying. Like imagine you need to go through the phase of cravings after quitting smoking. Then you go back and have a puff... and your body is hooked again immediately. But you resist, and youre free again. Then you take another puff, just one. (because you use it in so-called ''moderation'' right) And you go through the withdrawal period again. And you keep this on repeat. The puff is pleasant but on the end of the day the withdrawal period is just additional work, thats annoying, that you need to go through every time if you want to have this or that drug under control. The small temporary ''pleasure gain'' is simply NOT worth it to bother myself with the withdrawal period. I just cant bother anymore.

Those cravings happen EVERY time I drink, more or less (albeit I found the longer I go without alcohol, or caffeine, or sugar etc the lesser they are but it took YEARS to build up to this point) - this is also important factor in understanding how those drugs work. its not that you ''fancy a cup of coffee'' or ''I feel like drinking whiskey today''. its mostly your brain remembering the ''high'' feeling you felt on it, and then sends neuron impulses for you to do the same thing again. Notice that you rarely ''fancy a big cup of spinach'' in the same way you fancy your caffeine high, right?

So it usually means your dopamine or serotonin is lower than it should and your brain wants to rebalance itself. Of course, easiest and shortest path possible - indulge again in the very same drug that creates BOTH the high and the following deficit! vicious circle. but people do not understand this, they dont FEEL how their own bodies work.

also this is when I realized how FAR OFF Im from most of average people... and its lonely on the top ;) I also get that I might be too strict.
but then, every time I drink coffee after several months I feel BAD. so why should I continue to do so? I also think I finally fully FEEL how those things REALLY work on the human body. And its not good... most people wont feel that because it literally took me years to get to the point to be free from every addiction or bad habit I had in my 20s.

So I treat them for what they are: DRUGS. Once in few months I can have a single, double dose of a drug. Thats all. Then I need to recover. I do it usually to remind myself why I dont need them. And I need these ''reminders'' less and less too... I feel like I regained myself, my body, good mood, energy, control over myself. When I hit 40 it will be like starting 20s again, but this time with fresh healthy perspective and tbh I CANT WAIT !
Now, how many people you know who can't wait to get to their 40s? Most of people I know already feeling miserable in their 30s! Think about that! This body will be required to WORK HARD to maintain you in good shape. Its like a vehicle. You can ignore that and put in cheap fake petrol in it, and pay for it later on and be forced to drive in a rusty, faulty vehicle or take GREAT CARE about it and put in only the BEST fuel inside.

of course my ''vehicle'' will fail, eventually. they all do. but it will be able to give me that ''extra mile'' when needed which can as well mean additional 10-20 years of life in GOOD HEALTH and thats PURE GOLD, priceless advantage.

its ultimately about SELF RESPECT and LOVING YOURSELF.
Realizing that you have everything you need to feel happy inside of you. That balance and strength comes from WITHIN. Thats all.

It teaches you about DISCIPLINE and DEDICATION.
    THAT MAKES YOU RELIABLE.
Which in turn, makes you a man being able to DELIVER MEASURABLE TANGIBLE AND SERIOUS RESULTS!

This is my path, some people wont prolly feel that bad after coffee than I do. Thats ok. I just share my thing. Sorry if it sounds like bragging that is not my intention I just dont know how to put it in words in a better way.

I think the point Im trying to make here, is that everyone in their adult life should at least do the 6 months free from everything thing, to rebalance their bodies, connect to them and truly see what those substances really do for them, what they take away from them and if they really need them for anything? because if I feel happy balanced motivated and energetic without anything, why ruin it?

when we were kids we werent addicted to anything, remember? you did not need coffee or alcohol to feel energetic or happy. and it is NOT true that you need them as adults.
your bodies are perfectly fine doing their job the only thing they need from us is that we need to LET them work for us.

ok thats it guys thats my message for you :D

I admire the dedication to hold your semen for 2 whole years but why? WHY? WHY you are not having sex, what is the point of attracting women, feeling confident, looking sexy and all that if you are not even having sex? Not that I am on NoFap just to have sex, everyone of us knows about the benefits, even if im not on NoFap and Im fapping I will have sex inbetween. WHY NOT HAVE SEX? Sex=fun fun=some form of happiness

    EDIT:
For me semen retantion is not a healthy way of living life sex is kind of necessery to be happy and well and healthy. Scientificaly proven btw

    yes. this.
we are feeling good but we want to go higher or to celebrate or say ''good job'' so we go for sugar... then we crash and go lower. so we go for caffeine ,again higher high and lower low. I add alcohol then. Same pattern. Plus numbing effects of it. And then PMO.

Simply because I am not able to get it, most like due to (too often) not believing in myself when it comes to game. On top of that, I am not very experienced and have a lot of underlying previous anxieties about getting laid that are hard to get out of my head and that not even NoFap seems able to conquer (like not being able to perform when the moment is there, getting aroused and getting tons of prejizz just from being near pretty women. I would probably jizz my pants before the fun has even begun).
It feels like I'm stuck in old, self-destructive thinking patterns that are very hard to break free from.
On top of that, I am highly intelligent and introvert by nature which complicates it further. I'm a person who doesn't like small talking for too long about stupid, meaningless things.

Many times, I am simply clueless about what to do and feel like I will live and die alone without any partner, sex, descendants or family around me.

the so-called ''NoFap aura'' is just your own aura, electromagnetic energy field thats constantly created by your heart, and partially by your brain.
if you negate it, you negate life

    you have much to learn

start by reading stuff from heart-math institute about electromagnetic fields generated by your body.

Don't have anything to learn, stay ground instead of the head in the cloud wishy washy state of being mate.
NoFap makes you more of a normal person, grounded, aware and gives you the energy to do what is necessary to become better, very simple stuff.

not sure why you think working on yourself is having head in the clouds. you just said nofap aura is not real, this is incorrect.

being grounded is exactly what I meant

and thousands of tradition and wisdom, knowledge, coming from ancient cultures who knew the benefits of semen retention and studied living human body
speak for themselves. you dont need to believe it if you dont want to.
