Has anyone tried the App Blinkist?

I tried it when it first came out for a year. I'm big into self development and thought it would be an interesting way to consume that content. None of the concepts I consumed made its way into my long term memory. I forgot 99% of what I read. Reading actual books does a lot more for you in regards of storing information as well as improving your attention span. I would compare Blinkist to watching a movie trailer instead of the actual movie. It's cool - but you're missing out on a lot by not watching the real thing
