I've tried nofap many times, the farthest I got was fort-something days, but one thing that stood out to me was that I never had a wet dream. My recent streak has felt special, and at my 20 and 27 day mark I had wet dreams. It's very interesting. Neither of these times was I thinking of sexual content before I went to sleep. IMO its a part of the reset and is supposed to happen. Input?

  2. Hi comrades,
I don't agree with StarRider's views about wet dreams. Of course he is perfectly entitled to his opinion. But in my judgement nocturnal emissions are merely the body's way of self regulating.

By this I mean it is getting rid of old sperm. This enables the production of new material. I have abstained from PMO now for 8 months. In that time I've only had 1 wet dream. I have avoided porn on the internet.
But like everyone else I am still subjected to temptations. These range from scantily clad women in real life and in advertising campaigns. The latter is to be found on TV and billboards s well as in print media. Frankly, this is all porn used for commercial reasons.

Many of the women involved support the MeToo# movement. Which merely demonstrates their vacuity and comtempt for the public's collective IQ. By hijacking a worthy and noble cause they demean themselves with their hypocrisy.

Fortunately for me I no longer get enraged or aroused by such absurdity. Which has been of great assistance in my current abstinence. But I must remain ever vigilant!

  3. Ok StarRider. Let's just agree to disagree. We merely have a difference of opinion that's all.

    Good luck with your abstinence.
