Heart Racing + Heart Palpitations

    Hi.

    I am on my Sixth day at the moment and I was trying to get to sleep (Still am) when all of a sudden my heart beat started increasing quite dramatically, it is pounding quite hard and I was also close to having a panic attack which I managed to overcome. These symptoms are quite concerning and I was wondering if these are related to withdrawals. Has anyone else experienced this during a reboot?

    I'd say its rather related to your diet.Do you use alcohol before going to bed?

    Well,then its probably one of the PMO detox symptoms,similar to when you go through withdrawal from drugs.Just keep yourself clean and you gonna make it through.

    Yes, I'm experiencing all these effects as well (especially heart-racing). Actually it's not only them, I'm having insomnia due to fantasizing a lot too

    Occasionally my heart rate accelerates for no reason and this takes about 2 seconds.This has nothing to do with fantasies. It happened a lot in the beginning of my process, now it happens to me rarely.

    I have experienced heart palpitations a lot as well as High BP issues. Such panic attacks only happen with me when I edge. It also started with me after a week of No PMO. Heart palpitation is a symptom of PMO that occurs after long term of indulgence.

    So my advice to you is to stop edging including fantasizing. Have moderate exercise and avoid stressing moments and things prmote in making you stress as caffeine, a lot of sugar, lack of seep. In short, having a healthy lifestyle away from self harming will make a lot of improvements. don't worry much about these symptoms, they will fade as you keep going :)

    And it is very important to cut Alcohol as well.

    Same here. Started around day 40. Very strong heart skipping beats. Not scary. Actually, in my case I feel them in a good curing way. I feel its a sign my heart is getting stronger. Btw I exercise every day, have stamina, etc so no problems at all.

    I have a theory that all these years of fapping causes a 'pattern' to the heart of skipping beats that the heart is used to. When you fap and cum the heart is under stress so this 'memory' if you will come back after NoFap while it will eventually fade away.

    I can't handle my heart skipping beat. I don't know how you do it. It's driving me crazy and when it happens I tend to see porn just to forget and cope with it.
