Sorry if this post is a little long, but here goes. Hey guys, I’m new to this website and forum and generally new to the NoFap concept. I’m a 26 year old male. I’ve only recently started to realize the addiction I have with porn and masturbation recently. I also have just started to realize they may be the reasons for my ED and general poor performance in the bedroom. To start off, ive been viewing porn since I was in my mid teens. When I first started I always felt a sense of shame and guilt. I was a loser who never attracted females attention and as many of you have experienced, it was frustrating navigating sexual feelings and desires as a teen when I was constantly rejected by women. I never really stopped looking at porn from that point. When I was 18, I joined the Marines Corps and started a four year active duty contract. For those of you that don’t know, the Marine Corps as a military branch of service has a very unique culture and sometimes inner counterculture within the lower ranks. Stuff that is typically frowned upon in the civilian world is encouraged in the Marine Corps by those who dominate the lower ranks. The two biggest things are alcoholism and general sexual mischief. Once I was engulfed in this culture, and found that these things weren’t frowned upon, my shame and guilt disappeared and my addiction increased. Watching porn is a past time for Marines. We would sit around and discuss the best models, sites, and share various videos with each other laughing together. I became desensitized to porn. I lost my virginity when I was 21 and it was that first time when I realized that I had a problem reaching climax during sex, I just figured that it was something I would have to deal with. My addiction to porn completely changed my outlook on women and how I approached relationships. I spent 7 years single. Only really developing sexual relationships with women, and too many. It wasn’t until last year when I met the love of my life, and the woman I want to build a long lasting relationship with. Unfortunately, recently I have been experiencing sexual issues that have caused a couple problems. I have been unable to reach a full erection ever since we starting dating and developed an intimate relationship. I still suffer from delayed ejaculation. These issues have caused her to feel like I’m not attracted to her and I can tell it hurts her. I grew frustrated with everything recently and while drinking we were discussing our sex life and I muttered the words “Sex isn’t fun anymore”. I didn’t know how to effectively describe what was truly going on and this caused her to feel that I was losing my attraction for her and didn’t enjoy sex with her. I’m afraid that if I can’t figure out how to fix these problems, our relationship will fail and a marriage with her will be out of question. I’m not sure what to do anymore. I’ve noticed a decrease in libido, and overall fatigue and loss in interest in sex. The worst part is, I have been watching less porn lately and yet if I watch a show with a half naked female, or scroll through social media and see a female that has posted a sexy or revealing picture, I have to masturbate. I’m going to try to attempt a 7 day reboot, but I’m just curious to see if anyone else had experienced these problems while in a relationship and how they improved. Thanks in advance.

Good to have you here , all the best for you target . Just one thing I want to add is with nofap you should also try KEGEL exercise for your ED . It will help you get full erection. It is a exercise of pelvic floor muscle . I recommend you to try this.

And if you really luv this girl and if she is also in deep love with you then you should tell her the truth about your problem . You should tell her that you have ED that is why you can't reach there . You have delayed ejaculation thats why you can't reach there. Tell her the truth man . If she really cares for you and your relationship she will definitely understand your problem and will be with you in your goal. This will increase your confidence and will help you in your goal.

I have a gf and I also have problem of PE . I told her that due to PMO i got this problem . By listening this she was very angry with me but after that she asked me if there is any solution on this, should we consult to a doctor?
She is with me still because she luvs me . This has built a good confidence in me . That's why I am here on this platform to get out of this shit .And also I am going to see a doctor.

I think you should also see a doctor.

    See if this helps

    And all the best
Be the better version of yourself

  3. Hey, welcome to the NoFap community
    : )
It's nice to see you here fighting the good fight alongside us!
First let me go ahead and drop some helpful links for you:

Getting Started Guide / Forum Rules / How to Use the NoFap forums/ Glossary/ NoFap Panic button /
Set up your day counter /
    Rebooting Resources/
    Accountability groups (new!) /
    About NoFap/ Support Nofap
    Here is just some advice:

First and foremost please take a careful look at each section in the forum, there may be something(s) you will find to be of big help to you.
Secondly I advise you to be active on your profile(as there a few active people in the profile section). Please start by choosing an avatar and then begin posting frequent status posts to show you're active and needing support/encouragement.
The forum has got a neat little feature that shows freshly posted statuses for all users to see.
People will find your profile and give you support.

There’s a portion of people who love communicating in the profile section..(it should be and is )mostly spportive talk but it doesn't hurt to deviate from supportive conversations. It would be great to have you join in and become part of the team!
We support others in the threads, profile posts, and journals/reboot logs.
Once you receive some support, please be sure and be grateful to the member for the help/support you received and consider giving some in return to anyone you wish.

Thirdly, you should highly consider creating a public journal/reboot log (in the appropriate section for you) to write about your days in depth for us members to follow along on your journey and offer support to you on.

Please start your journal in the correct section and with that, also try your best to post in the correct sections as it is mandatory and would be helpful to the mods who organize the forum. : )

Last but not least: Good luck on your journey here, make sure to really give it a try with all your heart!

  4. Hey, Marine Vet. Did you manage to get any improvements? The physical and mental effects of long term porn use can take some time to resolve.
