    Successfully completed the first day. No porn - no masturbation.

    I somehow feel that masturbation will lead to relapse for I have since my early teenage years only masturbated to porn and porn fantasy. So, it is on my no-no list for the time being.

    What are your take on it guys? Do write below. Point me to a goo d article on it if there is any.

    I think I have wrote enough for today. Will check the forums again tomorrow.

    Wednesday - 17th of June, 2015

    It is 11:30 pm here in India. The day is about to end, which marks my second day in my reboot process. My body feels deferent. Perhaps it is just my mind telling me so, but whatever it is, it does feel great.

    Had my Exams Today. Perhaps I was not 100% prepared for it but still performed well. My decision to embark on this NoFap journey yesterday kept me in good mood today. At about 3:30, I did get some wild urges but just wrote about it somewhere in this forum, which did wonders in reducing its intensity of my craving. Guys, writing down your feelings always help. It is perhaps even better to put it down in a social forum like this where others people can chime it and add their valuable insights.

    That is all I have for today. I will write again tomorrow.

    Thanks for posting your journal, it's always helpful for me to see other guys and girls being successful. I am doing hardmode because for me it was way to easy for my brain to rationalize "hey, you're already masturbating, why not just watch a little porn" and in that moment I'm not strong enough to fight it, so i relapse. I've also read about a ton of benefits from not masturbating, there are the benefits from doing it too (prostate health) but these benefits are hugely outweighed by the ones you get from staying clean. Also our bodies usually take care of any problems through wet dreams.

    Thursday - 18th of June, 2015

    Relapsed today! Felt like shit - considered suicide - but decided to fight back stronger than ever.

    Reason of relapse -
    For thinking that I could control my porn use instead of eliminating it. I was under stress too so that might accelerate the urge to watch porn and masturbate. Began the day browsing Facebook pictures of girls that go to my school. Soon began seeing bikini clad women - then homemade porn and then in a very subtle way, even before I could realize it, I was in the hardcore stuff.
    Lesson to learn -
    1. Porn use can’t be used in moderate quantity. It will soon escalate and consume your time completely.
    2. Sensual images should be avoided. The ‘Non Arousal Mechanism’ by Gary Wilson (www. Yourbrainonporn. Com) combined with the ‘hard mode’at the moment seems to be the best option.

    I hope I don’t repeat my mistake. I end my third day with this.

    Friday - 19th of June, 2015

    Today is wonderful. It might be because I had relapsed yesterday and my sperm ducts are empty. I had a habit of masturbating every next day, so today there are no triggers whatsoever. Tomorrow will be challenging but I am ready for it.

    Got my Physics and Mathematics exam soon so I have to put a lot of effort in my studies. This is good for it will let my brain re-wire and destroy old pathways and develop meaningful and empowering habits. I have great academic and business dreams which I will concentrate my focus on.

    Also from the next day onwards I have decided to add a section in my daily log about all things related to NoFap that I learn that day. Maybe I will do that on a weekly basis. Not decided fully but will definitely think about it. I guess that’s all I have for today; I am learning more as I grow. The next post will come tomorrow.

    Yep, that is always the first step. When I first got to NoFap I believed that PMO could be a healthy thing if it could be done in moderation. But, as we all experience, that is not the case. Not for us. We can never experience PMO without reawakening the addiction. Sometimes it takes a while to accept. The sooner you do, the sooner you will start to recover.

    And yes, the internet is a nightmare. I can't even go to some serious newspaper web sites because i know they have adverts that can trigger me. Totally PG adverts, but they still trigger. Sexualised images are everywhere and they are all triggers. You ahve to learn to look past them or avoid completely. Some people say avoiding is dangerous because when you do eventually see one the effect is worst. I'm not so sure about that. I think sometimes the easy path is good because it gives you time to recover and give you confidence.

    Anyway, looks like you are doing really well. To me you are doing all the right things. I hope they are helping. If not, keep coming back. Keep asking questions and keep learning from your (or others) mistakes.

    Today is over. I did get some serious cravings throughout the day but someone got over that. I have gathered a four day streak, having relapsed the second day, and seem to have better control over myself (or thats altleast what I think). I have no idea of tommorow. I do have stressful work comming up in the next few days which I don’t believe is too good for the cause. But from the beginning of July, my summer break will start and I would be in relative ease.
    Although my mission is NoFap for life, my topmost priority for the moment is to get past these ten days.

    I conclude the post with these.
