I'm stuck badly

    so about 10 15 days my streak ended, and when i relapsed i thought i should start from a roundoff date so i could count my days and started PMOing and mannnnnn it was the worst decision i think im stuck again in this addiction im pmoing everyday and its getting serious day by day i need serious help.
    Please i wanna go back to normal and dont wanna fap what should i do? i dont even exercise and meditate, cause the will to do has gone everyday i wake up and think about pornstars even the urge isnt that bad i relapse please im stuck in a trap very badly what should i do please could anyone help i feel like im nothing.
    I wanna set goal till my birthday (11 oct) what should i do.
    I'll do anything, yes anything you say and update it everyday.
    God! Help!

    Hi there, I am copy-pasting a previously written post by me with some few edits which I believe would be useful to you (this is long).

    (I too started NoFap as a birthday resolution.)

    (Start your previous NoFap routine such as exercising and meditating too.)

    As you said you were PMOing:

    Here is what you need to do:

    You must start by blocking the content first.

    (NOTE- The OpenDNS method works on all platforms.)

    0) DON'T DELEBRATELY SEARCH SHIT.
    Cuz you know when you are going to.

    1) ENFORCE SAFE SEARCH:
    https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/186669?hl=en#:~:text=To confirm SafeSearch is on,%\system32\drivers\etc .

    Safe search makes sure there will be no porn or sexually arousing content in your searches.

    2) ENFORCE RESTRICTED MODE FOR YOUTUBE
    You brain will jump from one place to other and YouTube is filled with garbage too.

    In short:

    For YouTube, append the following into your hosts file:

    Remember that this will block every channel with adult content (not 99% accurate), will block live streams, comments etc.

    3) BLOCK BY WORDS:
    I believe routers have this feature, block the words that you end up searching which are usually the reason for your triggers( ex: porno,henti, blah blah...)( It took me a week to get all of my PMO trigger words.)

    if your router doesn't have this use this:

    it has word blocking feature.
    Make sure you enable it for incognito too.

    4) Set up OpenDNS:
    Try blocking every porn site including twitter ( It is no less than a porn site), stock photo sharing sites, instagram etc.

    Open DNS:
    Step 1:https://www.opendns.com/setupguide/
    Step 2:https://login.opendns.com/
    (Manage which site you want to block)


    STEP X ( TO GET RID OF THOUGHTS):
    ULTIMATE WAY THAT I FOLLOWED TO STOP MY SEXUAL THOUGHTS.

    Imagine someone you fancy as their bodily parts.

    Now imagine a row of large buckets.

    Next imagine putting their skin in the first bucket.

    Put their brain and lungs and eyes and other organs in the next bucket.

    Put their muscles and sinew and cartilage and tendons and bone marrow in the next bucket.

    Now put their blood and mucus and snot and urine and faeces in the next.

    Finally odds and sods like eyes and hair and nails in the last bucket.

    Now ask yourself which bucket sexually arouses you the most.

    Which bucket contents are the most attractive?

    This is the body you fancy is it not.

    Nothings changed other than the arrangement of the bits.

    The bits themselves haven’t changed in the slightest.

    Stay aware of the contents of the buckets, allow revulsion to arise.

    If you need to focus on a particular bucket to create revulsion do it.

    Don’t worry about the exact content of each bucket.

    It’s just a tool.

    Put whatever you want in each bucket.

    A simpler way is to visualize the person with their skin piled at the side of them.

    You can then continue this as your meditation.

    Every time you see someone recall what’s inside the skin, imagine the skin has gone .

    Every time your mind wanders away or you get distracted recall the exercise and start doing it again with the people around you.

    This is mindfulness of the parts of the body as they are.

    I did this diligently for a week or two.

    All sexual craving ceased as did finding any body attractive."

    Yep been there in you’re age, but it’s all up to you bro, you need the will power, to control you’re thoughts and all. Nofap isn’t easy and that’s why nobody does it, if you care about the benefits and if you care about yourself and your life, you will quit, you must. Also make a journal, it will help you to track and get supports from members here, and remember to not give in! Good luck

    so day 1 passed, was pretty busy 'cause i was at my brother's and nothing was so ill i'd say over there, and today morning i got no urges but later i watched a thumbnail of a porn scene but closed suddenly and i'm trying to be busy by studying and other things. so far so good.

    Day 2.
    Today at midnight or yesterday midnight when i went to pee and felt itchiness in dick so i rubbed it and i dont know i felt an orgasm and had a reset, i think because i've been seeing insta models lately so fro today i will the useage of instagerm.
    Day 2 is still going well felt a urge but i'm past it so, so far so good!

    I stopped insta and it is beneficial. And if you again search and saw just consider it as relapse and start again.

    A.Willpower
    B.Purposeful Situational Manipulation

    You need to Have a Mixture of both to fight addiction. Also,
    C.Routinely keep reminding yourself why you want to quit PMO.


    When having immediate urges,
    1. Step away from the internet.
    2. Wear Trousers if it helps to establish a physical barrier.
    3. Work on your mindset(This is the point where you tell yourself why you want to quit PMO, Face the urges, Be confident.)

    Use all of A., B., C.

    its midnight and in this afternoon a guy sent me this chicks video and said that this was real orgasm, i couldnt resist and looked at it and busted a nut.
    but only once, is it reset or relapse?
    fuck i feel stupid.

    For me a relapse is a relapse, I know that if that guy didn't send those vids your streak would have continued but, in the end you saw it and you did it.

    Here is where you went wrong. You had an option to not see it, but you still saw it as you weren't alert. These scenarios will come and it is completely upon you to choose between the option to relapse or not to relapse.

    I suggest you to block that guy or inform him not to send such stuff. It would be best if you delete that app if he sent it to you through it.

    I think this will help you too. And I will say that more than being alert, be conscious, be aware of how you feel and how are you reacting in your closest relationships. If you are not conscious in the moment, then you will operate in an unconsious level of the mind, which is incredibly powerful.

    The conscious: The conscious consists of what someone is aware of at any particular point in time. It includes what you are thinking about right now, whether it is in the front of you mind or the back. If you are aware of it then it is in the conscious mind.

    Example: Right now as you are reading about Freud you could be thinking about what is being said in the text and that your eyes are tired from staring at this screen. In the back of your mind, however, you might be thinking "wow this website is really cool, if I was a psychology teacher I would give whoever made it an A". Both of these thoughts occur in the conscious mind.

    The Preconscious: The preconscious contains information that is just below the surface of awareness. It can be retrieved with relative ease and usually can be thought of as memory or recollection.

    Example: Right now think of your middle name. That is an example of preconscious memory. Similar example could be what is your mom's birthday, when did it last rain, and how long does it take to drive to the mall.

    The Unconscious: The unconscious contains thoughts, memories, and desires that are buried deep in ourselves, well below our conscious awareness. Even though we are not aware of their existence, they exert great influence on our behavior.

    Example: Things in your unconscious would be forgotten negative experiences in your past, extreme dislike for a parent, or a terrible event that you pushed out of your preconscious.

    Notice than the unconscious could refer to trauma, that even forgoten, excluded and deleted from our consciouns mind, still operates and controls our behavior, unless you are completely aware.

    This said, I will recommend you to start meditating.

    Stress not only blocks neural receptors so you have negative feelings and personality deviations "I feel nothing", also doesn't let you think with a straight mind. Sitting on the floor or on a chair, observing your breaths for 20 mins will give you a better angle to move towards your objectives.

    Hang in there man it’s a struggle man I’m on day 4 clean no PMO man hang in there I know how hard it is to quit I’m 30 and still struggle with this addiction
