Late night urge is unstoppable(prone masturbation)

    I am addicted to PMO since 7 years, my longest streak is 10 days and have been masturbating prone (i.e. lie face-down on your chest and masturbate or thrusting your penis against a mattress, pillow, or the floor.) So bed is my trigger, whenever i lie onto my bed i get an urge to masturbate. I was on my day 4 of reboot and i relapsed at night at 2 am. How do you resist an urge when you are half asleep half awake, your will power is low and one is not in a state of complete consciousness to remember the purpose for doing nofap. I was able to resist my urge when i was awake during my past 3 days by taking cold showers, immediate pushups, etc. but couldn't when i was almost asleep. Orgasm is quick in prone masturbation and i was already lying face down on my bed late night and bloody relapsed. What to do?

    When bed is the trigger the question arises should we not sleep? I have tried this option of going to bed only when i feel like sleeping but i relapse late night....and i masturbate prone...so theres not much effort. This is like a loop than i am not able to break.

    for me, it was over use of tv, internet, mobile at night........that kept flashbacks coming in mind even when I am sleep. and that flashbacks in sleep acts as triggers.

    and

    after shitty trashy filthy day, when I find comfort in my bed, suddenly addicted mindset attacks on brain.......

    Ya you are right about thought being the trigger which usually pops ups the movement i lay on bed.

    Lets avoid any electronic devices before bed. It delays sleep and that delay turns out to be the devil. I am gonna try reading something positive before sleep(from a book)or a prayer or clean my room.

    I do the same prone on the bed, all I can do is roll over on to my back, close my eyes and be still until the urge passes

    Yeah pretty much but it’s taking some work. For me if I get on or nearly on my front, I think the touching of the bed and my junk, and me being in the right position just triggers all the nerves like a habit and I only want one thing.

    I’m trying at the moment to completely cut out this prone
    masturbation and I’ve not done it in over two weeks. I’ve found it hard because it’s so much more pleasurable. So if I get the urge I make sure I’m straight on my back and just try to think of other things until the nerves all calm down and the urge goes.

    Ive also found having my phone in bed with me late at night is a killer, when you get into bed it’s so easy just to take a sneaky look at some some pictures and before you know it, straight into prone. The only solution I’ve found to solving not looking at your phone is just willpower to not looking at triggering things

    Ok but what if the situation is something like i have mentioned in my 1st post (on this thread) when i am half asleep and half awake in the middle of the night, when will power is low....that is exactly when i lose the battle.

    Just thought I would share that I haven't masturbated prone in just over 2 weeks now and have had an unexpected benefit already. I've always suffered with varicose veins in my ball sack, and just thought I was unlucky having that at a young age, even the doctor didn't have much to say. But 2.5 weeks in and they have cleared up completely! Who knew..

    I am also suffering from varicose veins on the foreskin of my penis (its not much)... I dont know if thats really a problem.

    i had the same problem try to make a schedule of all the things you want to do on the day ( be carefull of not tyranasing youre self) an put hard but posible things aditional to any thing you want to do i would highly recommend exercise and meditation
    if you dont know whow to start with exercise try to make some weight training, if you are constant and youre not on a very faty state, you can start seeing little results very fast and that will motivate you more and meditation will help you to focus, in the end the objetive is that you do so many things during the day that you feel tired on night and this way you will only think on sleep ( but remember dont put more things on the schedule that the ones that youre actually capable to do, if you put to many thins youre not gonna be able to complete them all, its okey if you cant do some of the things on the schedule at first the objetive its that you improve the schedule by taking action and try, but if you put to many things on the schedule youre more often to fail many of them and that will may low your motivation and thats something you cant allow) also the most important thing its dont lose hope you need to believe that your world can change if you want to change it it is posible man
