I don't think a one off in these circumstances is necessarily a relapse. Obviously requesting the video, isn't great, but it was only a one off, and was a person known to Mikimo anyway. If it became a regular occurence then it would possibly become a relapse though. There used to be topless models on page 3 in UK newspapers, so a similar scenario to this, would be if this were a few years ago, and someone bought a UK newspaper and flicked past page 3. They might then be accused of having relapsed, which would be a bit harsh, and wouldn't be part of the NoFap guidelines anyway.

Frankly, @mikimo, listen to everyone who said that you're the one who holds yourself accountable. You decide what is and what isn't a relapse. Some things are pretty black and white: it's hard to argue that going on phub is not a relapse, for example. Others, though, are debatable, like a girl you know, your girlfriend or your wife sending you a nude, which is your situation.

I totally understand what you're saying. You want to warn people so things don't escalate into a full on relapse and they regret it afterwards. I can respect that, I agree with that.

The problem is you implied that it's sad for @mikimo to think that nudes from his wife and porn are different things (which they fundamentally are, he's not wrong). I didn't bash you, I simply replied with sarcasm. Then, I legitimately did not understand your reply and that's why I said "WTF".

One thing I do have to say: that is not edging. Edging is a very clearly defined thing, it's when you control your orgasm and maintain a high level of excitement for a long period of time. Asking a friend for nude pictures can't possibly be considered edging.

 

Yes you do because you have reignited the pathways of your addiction, remember hardcore mode is the way out of this, if you have compulsively looked up a porn site for 10 seconds you might get away with it, but you have watched the video. Just remember anything artificial like tinder and over age movies can make it harder for you to recover because I have went through all of this.

First off, people in this thread or in this forum can't dictate what a relapse is or not. I imagine you know your own goals, and if this aligns with your goals then it is not a relapse. If it does not, then it is. I get there is a pretty black and white line between what a relapse is or not, but that is not always the case.

Be honest with yourself, you know you more than anyone out there. If I were to get a video like that and I did exactly what you did, then I would not consider it a relapse. However, that is what aligns with my personal goals which is important to acknowledge.

Well, it really depends on what your goals are. I don't think anyone can really answer that question but you.

The counter doesn't matter too much, decide for yourself if you shouldn't have done it or not, some people don't think that it a relapse but for some others it is with no doubt
