So I a currently 27 days down into my hard mode streak to tackle my PIED. I ended with my partner and thought it was the good time to try it. However we have been in touch this whole 27 days and it’s been pretty ugly at times, causing me a lot of emotional stress. Will this stress be impacting the effectiveness of me going hard mode? Can I even count these 27 days? I’m not sure if anyone else might have experience with this but will the fact that my head is a mess with this break up mean my brain can’t really appreciate doing no pmo?

Has no one else had any experience with rebooting with emotional issues? Can I expect to be pushed back in my progress? Had a very hard time recently, classic break up.. depressed, anxious, empty, lonely, crying.. will all this be suspending any progress I am making?

  4. Congrats on the streak! It's super impressive that you have managed to get through this so far despite having such an awful time.

To answer the question: I doubt it. A lot of people go through mental health issues as a part of a reboot anyway. The only issue I could see is emotional instability driving you towards using porn but it seems that you have that well under control. Let's go for 30 days!

I agree. Just go forward. There is zero reason to return to PMO anyways, so the question ultimately doesn't matter.

27 days go by fast when you consider the big picture. Each day gives us us more perspective. So be patient and stay busy with other activities to take your mind off the emotional drama. The biggest danger is relapsing to cope with the stress. So make sure you have a strategy to go offline and avoid your devices should you detect temptation surfacing.
