As a gay man, I can assure you living a healthy life with a loving family is very much possible. You can’t “choose” your sexuality. And if it is a case of your country preventing this, consider asylum due to prosecution as a member of the LGBT community.

Totally your choice. However I’ll warn you that conversion therapy and desperately suppressing your sexuality (if you are in fact gay) can lead to more harm than coming to terms with it. God bless.

“In short, there is clear evidence that conversion therapy does not work, and some significant evidence that it is also harmful to LGBTQ people.

In contrast, there is ample evidence that societal prejudice causes significant medical, psychological and other harms to LGBTQ people”

    Some food for thought.

Am thinking that being gay or straight is just our mind. So i like to change my view towards sex and gender. I ll focus and change my attitude towards gay life and ll attain heterosexual nature

With full respect of everyone writing here, seeing that each person posted with best intentions on his mind, I have a need to throw a penny of my thoughts as some conclusions and advice are still way off the real truth.
@Should recover , what you are experiencing is HOCD. There are plenty of topics on this forum about it as well as posts from many people who are experiencing what you do. Some of them even overcame that phase. There are also plenty of scientific articles on the Internet supporting the idea of HOCD and SSA being a pure consequence of a porn addiction, as well as books offering explanations of the biology behind it with some solutions that can help you in recovery. I suggest you that, for the beginning, search around the forums (just search for "HOCD" or "SSA", for example) and try to find the advice that seems most helpful for your stage of recovery right now. You can also try and contact other users by PM for any kind of advice. I can't say that I know stuff, but if you would like to talk more feel free to message me privately.
Another advice that I have for you is to be very, very, VERY patient. Not only it takes time to recover from porn addiction and HOCD as well, but learning about all of this and even trying to recognize some patterns in your life is a loooong process, sometimes even spontaneous and impossible to force. It also takes a great amount of work and determination that sometimes young people simply do not have. When you read testimonies of other people, you will see that almost every guy took years or even decades to recover. But don't lose hope! I am telling you this just so you don't set yourself a (possibly very short and practically impossible) time limit. :) Rather than focusing on recovering ASAP or even focusing on completely beating this thing, focus on what you can do best at this very moment. Read stuff; make a victory plan; talk with people around here; find activities that interest you... Focus on small, but efficient changes. I am sure your final victory will arrive, step by step, soon enough. ;)

  15. Has porn turned you gay, or were you gay from the start? I'm interested because I'm beginning to think too much porn can cause people to partake in LGBT behaviours (not necessarily saying it's bad).

I know your opinion because you already shared it in more than few posts of this topic. And please, do not try to put your twist on what I said (even if unintentionally), especially because I do not plan to go into further discussions here. Many people confuse their sexuality and start believing they are homosexual, and with advanced porn of 21st century where people act out on even worse stuff (which I will not name because of possible trigger effect) that is very possible, despite your intention to support anyone who feels remotely gay to come out of the closet.
HOCD is a disorder on acting on a sexuality that is not a part of your nature. The science about this topic is just at the beginning, but some articles are already out and there are also plenty of experiences of people overcoming it. If the author of the topic wishes, he can contact me by private message. And if you already support the idea of people resolving their confusions by coming out, which you obviously do, you should also be tolerant enough to support those who feel homosexual and are not comfortable with it. Let everyone find their own identity. You already spoke, tried to help, no need to force yourself into other's face.
    God bless!

If thats the case then you should decide to go straight. Talk to a counselor.

  20. To me, the answer is simple: start by recovering from your PMO addiction. If it's a reason for your homosexuality, then it should slowly go away. Be patient. You'll find your answer when you get rid of the roots, namely, your addiction. One step at a time, okay? Cheers.
