Because, there have been already 5 months, but I only feel that they just get stronger. Please, anyone who experienced their reducing, give advice.

How often are you thinking about them. Thinking about them as a way to check if they are gone will reinforce them. You have to treat them as if they never existed. Checking to see if its still there will remind your brain of what was and you could start feeling shit again. Eventually you will get to the point where you don't feel like you ever need to remind yourself about it, and it will no longer bother you.

  3. If you have porn induced fetishes then they will fade away. It did for for me. I lost my porn induced fetishes in day 63 or something. But if it is a natural fetish then it will be there.

Well, everybody's different. For me, I still have the flashbacks of porn and it's going to take awhile. I'm doing my best to not think about them.

Fetishes stays for long. It however also depends on the no of years you have been addicted to same.

  6. Mm! I see. Congratulations brother.
Even I have developed some fetishes before I saw porn. Its still there for me.

It depends on how much they are in your mind. It doesn't matter if you watch them or think about them, it will greatly slow down your recovery.
I've been doing various versions of nofap for a few years so I can't give you a simple number but I had the best success doing noP in the last few weeks and I have managed to get rid of 2 fetishes but there are still many left.
Is the answer years or weeks? If you hypothetically have the perfect conditions to not think about P I think you could start getting rid of them in weeks but as you can see on the forum people struggle for years...
The important thing is that it's possible. I sure am glad I no longer crave dick as a straight guy...

I've been finding in about the last 2 weeks I've been able to fantasize about normal sexual behavior with women, but ultimately what I experience in strong sexual urges (on my masturbation relapses) is the desire to act out or follow through a fetish. I've found that sexual abstinence, and self-improvement and stress/fear/anxiety management have been what has helped me lose interest in the fetish. If anyone else has overcome theirs, how long did it take you?

Often 90 days (3 months) is a classical standard for acquiring any new virtue and getting rid of it's opposing vice - not a complete and total fix, but some real ground is probably being made by 90 days. Everyone is different, of course. Are you slipping at all or making any concessions to the fetish? Mere plague of thoughts is not necessarily a failure, only if you indulge them. If you don't indulge them, a plague of thoughts resisted actually goes a long way in rewiring for the opposite virtue. Also, when we are trying to get rid of something, often we need to put something better in its place; else, the need for the addiction remains. So, you have to really discern what "need" the fetish accomplishes for you or what void it is filling within you; then, put something else in that place when the need arises - even if it is love and self-compassion when you recognize the times of trial. But, the more concrete you can get, if even possible, the better.
