If you're still recovering from PIED then I would avoid it. Once you're recovered, receiving nudes from your girlfriend is fine as long as you don't relapse into using other porn or porn subs.

The issue is that as a porn addict, you're going to be triggered by these images and that can cause you to relapse. When it comes to your girlfriend, there is an element of having, "earned," the nudes. You had to work for them, there is a level of intimacy and romance involved, she isn't just some random girl. This means that you're able to see her as a real person when you look at her nudes, rather than as an object. It also means that it isn't just an easy dopamine hit from a quick google search that is driven by the coolidge effect.

In short, the issue with random nudes is the likelihood that they'll lead you to relapse and experience a reemergence of PIED or other symptoms of porn addiction. The chances of this happening with gf nudes is much less, though still definitely a possibility, especially early in recovery.

 

I'm gonna go all out n say I think you're fine with nudes from a gf. For me it's the fact there's an actual connection that makes it different from P use.

I'm married and having sex with my wife is actually a huge help when it comes to building back to normality and not PMO. Creating the positive connections between intimacy and sex instead of random porn and sexual satisfaction only.

I myself have pied and have improved massively from where I was. My girlfriend was sending me nudes from time to time. As long as you don’t relapse you’re good to go. But make sure the nudes are only of your girlfriend and no one else

 

Nude from a real girl you know is not a relapes. That being said its M to a photo so be carful it can lead to PMO easy.

Well i dont have a gf so i cant attest this. Maybe what the rest are saying is the truth. I can only tell u that from my experience and reading through other threads.

To successfully recover from PIED requires 2 things : abstinence/reboot and rewiring. You suffer from PIED meaning you cant perform with a REAL person why? Because your pmo behaviour has overwrite what used to be the "actual" way of having sex.

Now that you've got a picture of your nude gf which is a real person that you know personally and intimately in life. You can use those pictures as a substitute of the 'real' thing where you can feel her warmth, touch and comminucate with her picture using 'imagination'. So this your current situation.

What actually are you trying to achieve from the activity above? You want to recover from PIED by masturbating to your gf nudes which is 'real' person and someone you know 'intimately' in order to be able or to rewire your brain to have sex with her in real life when u meet each other. Give it a thought.

A PIED patient can ONLY have sex with a real person (not escorts) after some period of reboot (the longer the better). I seriously do not understand why people wanted to go into grey areas where you are unsure of. Yes maybe u CAN teach your brain to be able to have sex with a real person through masturbation to a picture. But that is just a big MAYBE.

Nofap is already tough enough and we dont have to complicate it anymore. Just abstain from anything sexual for the time being and let your brain and body heal. People suffer from PIED abstain from even having sex with their partner and here you wana masturbate to a fucking picture?!

Agree 100%. However, in my opinion, abstinence from PMO and rewiring supported by real life contact. Receiving a nude from partner does not mean masturbating using said picture.

I have PIED too (had) and probably the biggest part of the process that helped me was ONLY having sexual contact with my wife. Not that she has, but if I received a sexy pic from her it would be foreplay for something later. In the same was as a flirty comment would be.

Abstinence = No PMO
Rewiring = Sexual contact in real life

We need both to successfully overcome PIED.
