Relapsed... back to these muddy orc cave...
Curious, though, that I am more determinate, somewhat like I am gaining more control over myself, strangely enough... Knowing myself better. Maybe is the anger, and understanding of my weakness, are, in someway, mergeing together... Like melting iron used in coins into a sword, destroying a, although good streak (coin's value), for the sake of growth (the sharp sword).
    Day 0.

  5. Day 2 complete!

Today was not easy; I had a lot of urges to look at porn on my phone. I went and cleaned the kitchen to take a break from my Spanish textbook and that helped. The late afternoon/evening/night have felt surprisingly peaceful. I'm only two days in, of course, but I think after having wrestled with going through my first relapse after joining NoFap, I have a clearer sense of purpose about why I'm doing this. The temptations this afternoon came with many thoughts that this struggle is pointless and I had no reason not to give in, but I must not listen to the lies of the devil.

  6. 1 week down! I'm going to be extremely vigilant over the next few days to break the weekly relapse cycle.

    Day 17.

I´m getting closer to the Bucklebury Ferry. Tomorrow I will arrive, but until that, I post this song to encourage our fellowship. I hope you like it!

  8. Day 18.
I thought I was on day 17. Good sign that I've "missed" a day.
    Creating better habits.
    Keep going strong everybody.

    Day 14
Last day of being an Uruk-Hai °3°
Last night was tough because I couldn't sleep, it was very stormy outside. I was so close to relapse, telling myself it would help me to sleep. While that might be true I don't want to trust those thoughts and rather go my way to become free <3
Hope you're all having a great successful week :emoji_purple_heart:

Day 17, Going ok. Still not as resolute as I would have liked myself to be but I'm much more resistant to NSFW content.

  11. Day 3 as Orc, this morning I was about to relapse because I had strong urges in bed. But I managed to get up.

    One day clean!
It is somewhat sad to say but, at this point in my life, this seems like a great accomplishment.

    Day 5
The morning was tough.Very tough.I had an extremely strong urge since yesterday evening. Not gonna lie i was planning to PMO today.NOT THIS TIME!!!Instead of going trough with my plans i took a cold shower(an extra long one).It worked wonders! To seal the deal i listened to some motivational music and while doing so i remembered about this scene from LOTR...

The sheer epicness of this scene rejuvenated me.It completely destroyed the urge and motivated me to continue my journey!!Last day of being a filthy orc!!The battle was won but the war continues. And this time i am ready to FIGHT!!!

Day 10. Felt some temptation this morning but just kept moving, had a small group meeting and some quiet time before work. Have to remember my priorities today and really focus.

Thanks @RiseToGreatness, Agree to a certain degree. I do all those things but still struggle with the M. Back to day 0 on M & O now again today after a colleague posted images to a work group chat that triggered me to go fishing. Can I get your views (or anyone's) on what to do if you see such images, when the desire rises, is that the time to hit the weights or go for a run? Does the desire eventually subside? I suppose I have this thought that once you get triggered there is no getting over that trigger, as in you have to release otherwise the trigger will just keep repeating itself until you do.

But then I found this :

So I am committing now to lay off MO for at least one week, just to get out of this downward spiral.

If the urge arises (cue), adjust the routine, and substitute the reward - keep a log "do I still feel the urge" - adjust - substitute - repeat - identify the cues, identify what subdues the craving and then keep to these adjustments and substitutes.

Thank you all for being my accountability partners!!!
