How bad is hentai?

I think (for me) it'd be a better thing to nut to. Well,was, at this point. Now all is bad. It's just pornography that messes with your dopamine systems. I keep getting thoughts about checking new hentai that probably came out but I keep staying strong and not getting myself involved with it. I'd suggest not knowing of its existence to maximize the chances of your mind being safe of such shit filth.

 

Hmmm... strange. I keep on hearing this addiction to hentai. I know what it is, but I was never really into it. I was more into real flesh and skin type of P. I wonder if it has to do with hentai not being accessible or not available in abundant 20 years ago. Might I be hooked on it had I watched a lot of it earlier on? Who knows...

Anyway, anything (including cartoon images) that stimulates you sexually is to be avoided if your goal is to be free from PMO. Hentai isn’t real, but so is P... it’s all acting. Dangerous when you start to think that way.

^^This. It doesn't matter specific type it is, it's being used for the same purpose, so it's something to stay away from. I used to watch it too and the end result is the exact same. Shame, guilt, anxiety, etc.

I would say manga porn is worse.
If you say porn is fake, well, manga porn is on another level. The artist can let the characters have their session as long as they can draw.

Well, I don't think it's either better or worse than any other form of porn material; it depens from person to person.

The only experience I have is mine, which doesn't add anything to the concept I expressed below; the "hentai addiction" that you seem to mention could be describe as a sub-type of porn addiction, but pay attenction: there are very little research, both in the psychological and neurological field, strictly focused on pornography addiction, so I don't think you'll find much on the hentai.

 

I think it should be considered the same though like you're saying. p-sub, porn, either way it's not natural and it's an unhealthy thing, and even though it's a cartoon, it still supports and promotes the same type of things that porn does, and it fuels the same addiction that we all want to get rid of.

 

Yes, I think you can see it that way too; I answered like that because I thought that OP referred exclusively to the hentai world, but I might have been wrong. Thank you for pointing that out.
