Hello everybody. I have to say that this community is a great help, I want to thank all of you for your threads, all of them are incredibly helpful and motivational. Is good to have strong people by your side.

I just relapse today. Three times. I usually manage to avoid PMO for a week or two and then I fall again in old habits. I've spent more than a year like this, so I account for dozens of relapses. If I'm honest I feel tired and desperate but I don't want to give up. I'm a mess but I try to keep fighting.
I'm a lucky guy, I have a beauty girlfriend and my relation is quite good giving the circumstances. I don't want to lose that, nor the grip in my life.
Right now I feel like shit, I had been even very close to pay for erotic webcams a couple of hours ago, and is not the first time, I had done it four or five times in the past. When I think about the fact that is like cheat on my girlfriend I want to cry. She doesn't deserve it, not at all.

Like I said I relapse dozens of times, I begin to feel that my fight is useless, the more time I stay away from PMO the hardest the fall.

But I'm not going to give up.

Hang in, soon or later you get fed up enough with it to do it right.
If you can get into meditation then it is a great help.
Easier to move the sexual energy then to repress it.

Hmmm ya you are only 33.... and you live in the city? Is it possible to keep boundaries? The stuff if impossible to avoid if you have access to it?

Thank you guys! You are a great help!

I've been thinking about getting rid of my laptop for a while Danny, but I'm not sure if it's a good approach to the issue.

Getting away from your laptop is a great idea!
The more time you can spend away from it, the better.
If you don't need it for your work, give it to a friend for two weeks and then re-up.
I found it's uncomfortable at first - not knowing what to do with myself, and then gradually it becomes just the way it is and start getting interested in other things.

    Are you willing to try?

Yes, it's true, I'm only scared about the fact that I can relapse again when I'll recover my laptop. But I think that's worth to try it.

If you want to stop watching porn, I recommend k9 web protection which basically blocks all of the porn websites. As for fapping, just try to keep yourself busy and use your energy for something more useful.

The constant failing is an issue I'm dealing with as well. But all I can do is pick up the pieces and try again. The thing that gives me hope is that I find myself able to go even a few days with just a few thoughts where just a year ago, I was PMO'n every day. It's not a long time, but it is definitely progress.

It's just the same for me, Montag. And I try to focus in just what you said. I think we're just stuck in the longest road to recovery.

    But still recovery!
