You need to try to find somebody on this form or any other form that you can call or text . I only drink non-alcoholic beer now but I still occasionally go to alcoholics anonymous and there's always people that are looking to meet up with other people and keep in contact with people so that when you have issues and situations like these you have somebody to keep you in check. you're also not helping your buddy out if you are agreeing to do something that you know you're trying to overcome. It's like someone who has an alcohol or drinking problem inviting somebody to come over and using abuse the same things for what reason does that make sense? Hopefully you get the help you need and by coming on this forum you've shown that you're trying to make steps towards the right direction which I commend you for.

Laugh it off as a joke, maybe use a GIF or something to diffuse it so he knows not to take your question seriously, change the subject...ask to do something else
