Yeah no problem, just a thing though dont try to copy paste the list from the fraud section all at once, it´ll crash the Site Blocker extension for Chrome, do it by parts and it´ll go in.

It baffles me that iOS (iPhone) doesn’t have a better way to block. Desktop computer has many options but iOS? Not many.

Does it work with Firefox or Waterfox?

You have to use *** on Firefox I believe, it´s also a bit trickier to block sites there too.

BTW there´s likely a cap limit to how many sites you can actually block, still making tests on this, it looks like it could be 100k but I´ll see to it, after 50k sites added the extension takes a bit longer to open up the list.

It´s made on Purpose watch Alex Becker vids, phones are a trap, deinstalling apps is the best method, so far (deinstalled youtube for instance)

ok blocked ~92k sites it takes around 30 secs for the extension to upload the list once you open it.

This can be a useful deterrent to youtube addiction, the harder it´s to de-block a site the more likely are the odds of not falling into that temptation!

I´ll try going over 100k and see what happens, wish me luck.

Just did it, I dont recommend going over 100k, the page has difficulty uploading, to the point it even states "this page isnt responding" ofc it gets over it quickly and shows the list after 35 secs.

This can be a effective hardcore method to fix specific site addiction, while protecting you from the nasty stuff.

Let’s hope PinePhone is doing well. Best alternative because it’s running on Linux. Which gives you total control.

Ok, tested 111k sites blocked the extension uploaded the list in 50 secs without the "page not responding" error, if you have a good computer you can definitely handle this.

I think pluckeye may be a better way, if you want to enforce your settings. Most extensions could be bypassed by removing it from chrome.

Update to the Fraud list, has a good chunk of sites already appearing on ramsonware, porn and scamming lists, as such the final count is ~121,5k blocked sites, no problems.

I keep a separate list of my blocked sites, on a Doc, file in my Seagate Driver in case something like that is a necessity, it also saves me a lot of trouble if I have to reupload the sites to be blocked in the extension, in case my pc goes under and needs a reboot.

I meant that Site Blocker is an extension and it could be easily removed from chrome. Pluckeye can't be just removed from chrome because it has some self-protection.

I say it's an essential web filter. I am already using a blocked list on pluckeye but it's smaller than this one. I will test this list to see if it works well.

Also, you could use pluckeye to enforce a safe DNS server:https://manual.pluckeye.net/how-to-block-only-bad-sites
check it out, if you're interested.
